  Good place to stay

  We stayed at Bastide du golf for a weekend in July. When you arrive at the residence they give you a card which let you open the room's door and the gate, so you are independent to access to the facility, infact the reception is open in limited times. This has obvious pros and cons. The room was clean, with good spaces and well furnished for a short stay, maybe ones would prefer more cook's tools, and some more space for a long stay but for the price we found it was a good value. We also appreciated the privacy you have in the space outside. We didn't use the pool: it seems not very big, but ok to take a rest before lunch or dinner for ones returning from visit the surroundings.

  NOT trustworthy

  I ended up being charged twice, both upon arrival and departure due to a misunderstanding. The manager promised to take care of it and refund my money, but I never heard from them again. The reception was almost never staffed, and it was very difficult to reach the people who worked there. Some kitchen utensils were missing, and the bathroom was very unclean. *Stay away from this place!!* The apartments and area around the pool and so on may look nice, and the location is a quite ideal one, but this hardly helps when the management cannot be trusted.

  Worst stay in France

  I lived here for a couple months, at the time there was a lady running it who was basically a slumlord, everything was dirty, moldy, broken, apts. wouldn't get cleaned and the doors would be left open for weeks. She would party and drink non stop with the tenants and be obnoxiously loud. The office was never open and they didn't even provide towels/sheets/pillows. There has been a new owner since about a month ago and there have been some major improvements, so it may be worth staying at now but I'm not sure..
