cozy, clean and good locationIt's COZY!! clean and staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is very quiet feels like home. Very good location, just a few minutes walk and you can find restaurants, shopping malls, and just opposite rd. you can enjoy the delicious street food. And after a long day of walking around Bangkok just a 10 steps away from La Porte you can find Paradise Spa to relax you.

Not encourage to stayWe booked two night for this hotel. Pro hotel is near to the platinum mall. Cons.. 1. Bathroom is quite weird as the design is like L-shape how to bath when I wash my hair I'll knock the wall. 2. Request for extra pillow however they would charge for 50baht non refundable. Pillow given was too thin, it was sleeping like without pillow though u have pillow. 3. Bed sheet was dirty as it got stain n like didt change. I didt complain as that night we back to hotel was late n when I was bout to lay down I only noticed the stain.

Last min cancellationBooked the hotel weeks before the actual date of travel. Was only informed by the hotel 2 days before my trip that their hotel rooms will be under renovation and asked me to shift to their sister hotel. The other hotel option that they give, location isnt near the places that I wanted to travel. Chose La Porte initially because of the location. Yet was only informed of rooms renovation and I am unable to stay there. I am sure that the room renovation is not a last minute thing. They should had know they will be going through renovation during that period but why still accept bookings?!?!?! I request to cancel the bookings instead of changing to their Sister hotel which the area isnt convenient of my appointment. The staff at La Porte asked me to go ahead and cancel my bookings at Agoda but I told them that there will be a cancellation fee charge to me if I cancel on my side but they keep INSIST there wont be any cancellation charges. Too bad that I cant attach the screenshot for them to see through agoda app, so they can see there is a cancellation fee instead of keep insisting there isnt. End up I called agoda hotline and inform them about this. Agoda say to avoid the cancellation fee, they will need to call the hotel to check. So end up I didnt get to pay for the cancellation. But due to last min booking, whereby I only have less than 2 days to find another hotel, a lot of hotels is all fully booked or prices is very expensive due to last min booking. All these gonna thanks to La Porte Bangkok Hotel because they dont know when they are renovating their hotel rooms and still accepting customer bookings and text a last min message to inform customer that they cant stay there. If you dont want having heart Attack, taking a risk of last mins having the hotel to inform you that you couldnt stay there, its better not to stay at this hotel. First time encounter this type of issue. 2 days before the trip then the hotel know they are renovating room. Lol

Bad stayGot the room facing the rubbish chute. The rubbish truck was so noisy from 2-3pm. Remember to request for rooms not facing the rubbish. Driver had a hard time finding as the reception is so small and Inside quiet lane

hotel that charges you 8250 baht for dirty bedsheets, pillows and pillowcaseIn the 4th day of my stay, i recieved a letter from the frontdesk telling me i need to pay 8250 baht for making the bedsheets, pillows and pillowcase dirty. i told them the dirt can easily be removed thru washing/laundry but they still insisted that i should pay the 8,250 baht. the filipina frontdesk was understanding but the thai manager and thai intern recepcionist was very rude. they dont want us to talked in filipino language with the filipina recepcionist. i do not recommend filipinos and other nationalities to checkinn to this hotel because of rude thai staffs and bad customer service. and addition to that you will be charged a hefty amount ( 8,250 baht) for the dirt that would be obtained by the bedsheets , pillowcase and pillows that you will use even thought the dirt can easily be washed away thru washing or laundry. note: this is not the first time this happened. heard other guest of this hotel experienced the same thing and was charged extra ordinary fees for the dirt they caused on bedsheets and pillowcase.
