  very disappointing Albergo in Brisighella

  Unfortunately my experience here was altogether disappointing. While cycling from middle to north Italy, I booked a room at this Albergo. Once there, I got the room nr.318, which however had not been made up yet. No problem, it can happen. Then, I got the room nr.110 which however had an overheated refrigerator. Still, it can happen and the refrigerator was substituted. Usually I do avoid using air-con but, in that night, being the room small and warm, I tried to switch the air-con on. ( I could not open the window as the central roads nearby were obviously noisy). It did not work ! The following morning I informed the owner who pretended to be surprised: "it is a centralized air-con system" he exclaimed ! Perhaps just for this reason, to save some KWh, the air-con did not work. Again, while the restaurant menu advertises the use of farm-to-table products (zero km in italian), I got for breakfast a 25gm dose of " honey" from Argentina, Romania and Taiwan. Of course, I left it there as I suspect that the bees contribution to that honey had been scarce indeed. Likewise, the "olive oil" to dress the salad came in stingy plastic bags containing a few drops of a liquid produced by "Mediterranean grown olives". And I could go on... On the return journey, I made a stop in Brisighella again but stayed at "Locanda la Cavallina" where, for the same price, I got a far better accommodation. I'm afraid, I can't recommend this place.

  Lovely hotel in the centre of Brisighella

  Beautifully clean, roomy and comfortable hotel in a superb location. We had a balcony which was very nice to sit on with a drink at the end of the day and watch the world go by. The owners and staff were very friendly and made you feel very welcome. Dinner was of a good quality, very tasty and really good value for money. Breakfast was 'salty' ie: meats and cheese and/or 'sweet' a selection of pastries and cakes, it would have nice to have had some fresh fruit - but that would be our only negative comment. Coffee was excellent. A great base for exploring this town (a definite must do) and the surrounding area. Car is a must have.

  Amazing experience

  I stayed at the Hotel la Rocca for a few days in mid-August for work. I highly recommend the place for many reasons. The location is simply fantastic ( you are at the heart of Brisighella) and the terrace on the top has a breathtaking view. The staff was incredibly nice and professional and always available. They provided me with a lot of historical facts and curiosities about Brisighella and the surroundings and they were extremely diligent in terms of cleaning and sanitizing the hotel all the time. I had dinner at their restaurant for two nights and the food was simply delicious and prepared with great care. Overall it was a great experience and if I have to go back to Brisighella that would be my choice again!!

  The staff were incredible and very available to requests. The room was clean and lovely to stay in - I highly recommend Albergo La Rocca to anyone staying in Brisighella, and definitely try the restaurant! It is not one to miss

  Amazing hotel and restaurant!

  Beautiful hotel in the center of Brisighella with an excellent restaurant. The owners are extremely friendly and hospitable and the food is very delicious. I highly recommend staying here for a great weekend in the quaint town. Everything was very clean and comfortable as well. Grazie !!
