    Great staff and very Covid friendly

    We stayed for two nights in Diceys cabin over MLK weekend in 2021. We appreciated that the staff was very Covid friendly - masks were required everywhere and the cabin was very clean. The food at the restaurant was great. Highly recommend it! There is not a ton to do in town, but we enjoyed the wineries in barboursville and got food in ruckersville. There is also a lot to do in sperrysville if you are willing to do the drive. Highly recommend for a quiet escape from the city!

    A Wonderful Rest!

    This is a lovely inn that provided a much-needed rest away. The innkeepers are lovely people, and the food was wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and a delight to stay in. Our room had a gas fireplace that was a wonderful touch.

    Nice getaway and fine dining

    We traveled with friends to the Lafayette Inn for a special guest chef experience. It was everything we hoped - warm hospitality, delicious chefs dinner, cozy, well appointed room, and a hearty breakfast with other guests. We plan on returning soon!

    A nice few days at the Lafayette Inn...

    We stayed at the Lafayette inn a few days in mid-February 2021. And it was a delightful experience Alan, his wife and the whole staff were always going the extra step to make our stay great. Their restaurant and food for the evening meals is truly superb. They have a menu that is very unusual for a small town, and items that you only find in very upscale restaurants.... Highly recommended!

    A good time in an historic hotel.

    I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Lafayette Inn. My suite was quiet and warm and inviting. Alan and Kay are very nice folks and always made me feel welcome. The champagne and hot chocolate were very nice touches. And the restaurant was beautiful and the food excellent. Would definitely come here again.
