  3 night stay with kids

  Brilliant quiet peaceful place welcoming and friendly. Not far from autostrada so easy to get out and about. Had 2 teenagers with us who were equally as happy as us! We stayed in the apartment which was very clean and tidy, and well equipped also. Would recommend to anyone!

  A wonderful stay - strongly recommended

  5 of us (2 adults and 3 children) had a lovely stay for 10 nights in one of the apartments. All the facilities were very clean and well maintained, and the staff are all very pleasant and very helpful. We all loved the swimming pools and table tennis, and enjoyed the local fare for breakfast, which had a nice selection and a slight variation of sweet and savouries each day. We also used 'la Plonge' bar for lunch a few times, which is on site at the bottom of the garden and serves light meals, snacks and drinks. It's popular with locals who visit daily to use the pool, which I think is a good sign. We used the location as a base and visited Ferrara, Modena and Imola - it's also possible to do day trips to Lake Garda, Venice and the coast. We would recommend to anyone, although a hire car is advantageous as the local shops are about 5km away in either San Martino or San Bartolomew in Bosco, Ferrara is the nearest city and about 10km, it has lots of shops, restaurants and a mall. I expect we will be back to see more of the area. Many thanks to you all for your kindness, your help and assistance to make it a lovely holiday.

  NICE PLACE TO RELAX

  Nice yard with two swimming pool. Friendly staff. Good local restaurant in the vicinity - ask for its name at the reception...Modest breakfast, except for cakes which are in a big variety. Good place to relax, except for the weekends, when the local people came to pool too. Have been surprised that in their advertisement was not mentioned that the sauna and Steam bath are closed in the summer!

  Wonderful Agriturismo

  Lama di Valle Rosa is a great place from which to explore Emilia-Romagna. The rooms are large and air conditioned. The morning breakfast features delicious pastries featuring products from the region. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I highly recommend this wonderful place.

  Beautiful, excellent location, great heated and covered swimming pool

  We stayed at Lama di Valle Rosa for 6 nights, and had a great time. Paola and Lucia are great hosts, always helpful with tips from where to have the best gelato or park when visiting nearby cities to activities around the area - they both speak good English, which is also handy. The swimming pool is great, a good size, kept very clean and to a good temperature. The depth is 1.40m throughout. Breakfast is Italian style, that is, variety of coffees and home made cookies, pastries, cakes, complemented with fruit, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, bread and their tasty own-label preserves. We stayed in the junior suite, which has an enormous bed in the main room and a decent-sized sofa bed in the other, where the flat screen TV is. There is a small fridge, with some courtesy bottles of water, but otherwise empty so you can use it unimpeded. Bathroom is well proportioned, with a shower. Good wifi reception. Peaceful and very quiet at night, the property has large grounds and another property across the road with a lake where you can do wakeboarding, or just feed the ducks. The location is very convenient, about 15 minutes from Ferrara and 40 from Bologna, and convenient to visit other cities (Venice or Florence) by train.
