Short break with friendsJust returned from a lovely break staying at the Lamlash Bay Hotel, Arran . The staff were so friendly and helpful . Advice given on walks , things to do etc . The food at this hotel is amazing , due to Covid restrictions, we opted to dine in hotel for the duration of our stay . We werent disappointed ! I would definitely return to this hotel .

Lovely Lamlash BayLovely staff, great location and views. We felt safe and looked after. Breakfast was good and the hotel's signature sea bass dish for dinner was delicious. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would highly recommend this hotel.

An unexpected stayWe had an unexpected stay at The Lamlash Bay hotel due to the cancellation of all ferries. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and staff. We were made to feel very welcome & were allowed in our rooms early. Everything was clean and comfortable & the Covid measures meant we felt safe. Our evening meal was excellent too. Dogs were welcomed & dog towels provided. Will return.

Retirement BreakSpent two nights at Lamlash Bay Hotel as my partner had stayed here several times in the past (a long time ago). We booked a double room and had our dog as it is dig friendly'ish. Our mistake was not to ring and ask advice. The room was lovely and freshly decorated but was in the eaves as mentioned by other guests. My partner is 6'2" he walked into the room struggling with a case and butted the beam/low ceiling just inside the door. No warning/yellow hazmat tape nothing. He had a red mark on his forehead. We unpacked and went out for a walk. I reported to reception about the accident...not bothered. The lady on reception explained it was our fault for not checking the room out in more depth or ri going ahead. They had nothing else to offer us. We were happy to stay as it was only two nights. The dog friendly bit is a bit odd. You can not leave the dog unattended in the room so at meal times we walked along to a near by car park and popped her in her crate. Just a heads up if your dog doesn't settle well in the car. All in all it was a nice hotel, food was nice just little things unsettled us.
