  Well worth a visit

  We had a room with a forest view and a balcony although the bathroom was slightly on the small size. The evening meal was well cooked and presented although the portions were somewhat large but the choice was exceptionally good. The breakfast had a huge choice of breads, cereals with plenty of fresh fruit plus an option to have cooked eggs and bacon. We would return as it is a good location for walking in the Black Forest.

  Authentic Black Forrest Restaurant/Hotel With Great Service and Gorgeous Views

  The views from this sweet little hotel are gorgeous - it overlooks a country landscape. The service is amazingly good - the staff were super accommodating to my food allergies and the meals were delicious! It was the perfect quiet retreat for our family.

  Super boutique and classy experience!

  An absolute treasure! Hotel Lamm is a lovely spot with gorgeous exterior. The rooms are beautiful, incorporating contemporary alongside rustic furnishings with super balconies.. The bathrooms are immaculately clean (my to go to criteria!) and modern. Now to the food! The evening meal was exceptional. The attention to detail and welcome to my British guests was overwhelming. The continental breakfast was had everything and 'a no rush' fee'l', Everyone we met were so welcoming and friendly, and incredibly professional. One small point, its no big deal, but there was no kettle in the room for your wake-up morning coffee. However with all the fantastic service and gorgeousness his boutique hotel has to offer, it pales into insignificance. Highly recommended!

  Simply Wonderful

  This is a wonderful hotel and restaurant. Our room was amazing. It was a grand suite on the 3rd floor with these huge windows that overlook a meadow, woods, a horse barn, and town. Everything in the room is updated and modern, including the bathroom. Just beautiful, and comfortable, and very quiet. There is no air conditioning but they provide a fan in the room. We were also there in the fall (September) and could open the windows and the room would cool overnight. We also had both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Both were excellent and the service was as well. The dinner was gourmet! I would highly recommend eating here, even if you are not staying here. Great find in the northern Black Forest.

  Good food but got cheated with the wine

  We had a family reunion at the Lamm. We picked a decent wine. The first bottle was to the satisfaction of everybody. The second bottle was poured into the glasses of the first bottle without somebody having tasted it or even being asked. And of course it had a failure. We asked the sommelier and the owner to taste it. Both confirmed that the wine had a failure. But they argued that the failure was not so big and with the margin they charge on the wine it would be inappropriate to refund it. They insisted strongly to charge the wine. After a long and unpleasant discussion we finally paid the wine. We will never return again.
