  Excelente experiencia en Moustiers Sainte Marie

  Viajamos en el mes de junio de 2018 con mi esposa y la experiencia en el hotel fue excelente. Las instalaciones muy cuidadas y con unas vistas muy bonitas. A aprixamadamente un kilómetro del pueblo de Moustiers Sainte Marie, se puede llegar a el caminando tranquilamente por un sendero ( el pueblo es sencillamente espectacular y bien vale estar entre los mas bellos de Francia). El desayuno es muy completo, con productos caseros. No se ofrece cena, pero hay una oferta gastronómica muy amplia en la zona. El área de la piscina y spa, cuidadas y limpias. Quizas la unica sugerencia sería agregar un frigobar en la habitación. Es atendido por sus dueños, la atención es personalizada y son personas muy atentas y afectuosas...gracias Brigitte y Jean Luc...esperamos verlos nuevamente!

  Very friendly and pleasant family run hotel.

  We stayed at Le Colombier for six nights in mid September, in order to do some canoeing on the nearby Lac Saint Croix and the Gorges du Verdon. This is a smallish (22 rooms) hotel, run by three family members. It is about a 10 minute walk into the village of Moustiers-Ste- Marie. We booked too late to get a room with a view of the valley but were happy with our room on the other side of the hotel, which had a small private terrace with table and chairs and morning sun. It looked onto part of the gardens, which are beautifully maintained, with a variety of trees and shrubs, including several olive trees. Our room was comfortable and well equipped and was always kept clean and the air conditioning worked well. We had breakfast each morning at the hotel, which was a good continental style breakfast, with plenty of choice. The public areas of the hotel are furnished with a quirky and eclectic mix of artefacts. Free on-site parking was always available. We found the owners to be very friendly indeed, always helpful and a good source of information about the area. The village was an added bonus - we hadnt realised how lovely and interesting it would be. There is a wide variety of places to eat and drink in the village from snack bars to haut cuisine. We had a wonderful stay and can really recommend Le Colombier.

  Très agréable

  Very pleasant hotel, a 15-20 min walk from the village center. This was our 3rd visit. We were warmly greeted and shown to our room. We opted for one with a balcony and view of the valley very clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. Bath was sparkling and well appointed, with 2 large drawers for toiletries below the sink. The hotel has a large terrace overlooking the valley, and affordable beverage prices and the Chudziks make an excellent Aperol spritz! Breakfast was excellent warmly orchestrated by the Chudziks. We highly recommend.

  Excellent hotel base for visiting the Gorges du Verdon

  We agree with the majority of the recent reviews and find it difficult to add anything new. What stood out for us was the friendliness and efficiency of Brigitte and her son who did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. Moustiers is the best place for visiting the Gorges du Verdon. It is centrally located, in a dramatic setting with several very good restaurants. And the best place to stay is le Colombier!

  Highly recommended

  Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. nice and well groomed area with tennis court and pool. 10 min walk to the historic center, by car directly at the starting point to drive along the canyon, close to all other canyon activities (kajak...). good value for price!
