  Buenos apartamentos en la zona centro de Castellamare del Golfo

  Estudios bien equipados. En la cocina disponen de microondas,cocina electrica y frigorifico. Tiene una cama doble y otra sencilla. Los estudios son espaciosos. Tiene un pequeño ascensor para subir equipajes o incluso el carrito del bebe

  Little bit of everything.

  PLAJEDI HOTEL (Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily) This consisted of a large clean bedroom, nice firm queen bed with light duvet, small 4 piece adequate bathroom but tiny shower. Also there was an anti-room with couch, coffee table and kitchenette for us to spread out into. Manager gives you a key for your room and one for the front door as he was rarely there. Perhaps only there for new arrivals and we were there in quiet mid-May. There was a cell number on the front door to get him anytime. Our room was noisy (scooters) during the day but with door to juliet balcony closed and aircon on it was very quiet at night. Olives, salami, cheese, delicious Italian pane and good local vino on the balcony to wave at the friendly old ladies gossiping loudly from their balconies, was the favourite thing for us to do in the early evening. We found well cooked meals by the water within walking distance of our hotel in this attractive town. Go 5 minutes west on the highway from Castellammare del Golfo, and stop at the view point for stunning pictures looking back at the town. We drove up the highway towards Scopello (a lovely little town) and Erice a fabulous medieval perched village both well worth a visit. Fran & Ralph Pugliese Vancouver, Canada

  Good choice as base to explore area

  Nice apartments. Clean. Basically equipped. Helpful manager, Bruno. Good location but difficult to find with out good directions. Should be able to find parking for free just outside. Walking distance to local shops,bars and restaurants. Recommended.

  Good location, Great value for money

  We stayed for 3 nights at Le Plejadi in Castellammare del Golfo. The location was great - on a side street, away from the noise of the main streets, but still very much close enough to the many restaurants and shops in the town (1 minute walk). The apartment had everything we needed - air con, equiped kitchen, tv, shower (although this was very small), sofa, table and chairs. We were on 2nd floor. The only noise we tended to hear was the sound of the many scooters. We always managed to park on the street in front of the hotel (beware if you are not a confident driver - the streets are very narrow!!). We received a very warm welcome and had a very pleasant stay. Castellemare del Golfo was a lovely place to stay - we loved walking and running around all the streets and hills around the area. It was also a good base to explore the west of Sicily - we went to Trapani, Zingaro nature reserve, Cefalu, etc. Would definitely recommend Le Plejadi and the town as a base.

  Great accommodation option to experience life as a local but with all the comforts!

  These apartments are simply great. Optimal location in walking distance to the town center, the harbour, many restaurants and shops as well as the historic town part of Castellammare del Golfo. Maybe not the ideal location if a view is a must but this is made up for by the convenience of being able to park the car (for free) just on the road outside the place. The stairs are steep but there is an elevator. The TV channel selection is no good but that's a good thing so you don't waste time watching TV. Bathrooms are clean and the small kitchen and separate living room to go with it are functional and cosy. The Wifi was great. The couple who runs the place are super friendly and lovely. Would come back anytime!
