  Buenas vistas, mejor restaurante

  Hotel bien ubicado, frente al río, habitaciones bien decoradas , no demasiado grandes, camas cómodas. En la planta baja casi todo el espacio está destinado a restaurante, haría falta algún salón para los huéspedes, el que hay es ridículo, pequeño bar original. Lo mejor de este establecimiento es sin duda el restaurante, con cocina de alto nivel.

  Lovely view, but hotel in need of TLC

  The room was nicely decorated, but in need of some renovation, the wallpaper was starting to bubble on each wall. The biggest dissappointment was the fact the beautiful jetted tub located beside the bed, did not work properly. The motor was dying and therefore the jets would not work. We could hear through the wall, the next room having the exact same difficulty also with their tub. There was also no mini fridge in the room, which made even having a drink during the evening difficult, as you had to buy it from the bar. Normally hotels have outlets in their bedroom lamps, but there were very few outlets in the room which meant we had to unplug clocks and things for my husband to plug in his CPAP machine for bed. There was a customer suggestion card left in our room, that had been filled out 4 days prior from previous guests, stating the exact same deficiencies, but the card was never taken from the room. The view was the shining star!

  Diamond in the rough

  This hotel was an unexpected surprise as it is in a rural setting outside the city in a big agricultural area. When we arrived and stepped in the front door I felt like we were in Europe and the decor was lovely with a beautiful view of the river in the background. The hotel sits right on the river with a lovely place to stroll in the back with a great patio with luxury comfy furniture as well as an outdoor seating area. The room was very efficiently furnished with very charming decor and spotlessly clean. We had a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the river as a bonus. Bed was very comfortable and jetted tub also had a rain head shower. Restaurant in the hotel was chic with a nice variety in the menu and food was delicious. Overall much nicer and more special than we had expected.

  Totally surpassed expectations

  Our room was beautiful....everything was perfect, including excellent amenities and bathrobes! We could have been in a country hotel in France. Our dinners were extremely tasty and well-prepared, and breakfast was exactly as described and plentiful. Totalling charming.,

  Former Relais & Château still delivers...

  We are local and have heard about this property for years, ever since it was a Relais & Châteaux... we finally had the opportunity to stay there and enjoyed the comfort of the room and the breakfast. You can tell that it is now a bit dated but everything was impeccable and a solid 3.5 to 4 stars (according to our standards ;). If you have a reason to be in that area, we definitely recommend. Otherwise, possibly for a short getaway (we didn't use the spas so we cannot comment on it).
