    Bastante malo

    RESTFUL BREAK

I stayed here with my daughters in mid September on an ALL-INCLUSVE basis. The hotel was very nice, clean, well maintained and the staff, Yannis the Manager, Dora the Receptionist, Vasso and Mike on the bar and housekeeping staff were all very nice, helpful and polite. When we arrived we were given a room in the building next to the main hotel. The room only had a side sea view and was rather small for 3 beds. As we had requested a sea view with a balcony and after speaking to Dora on Reception, the next day we were re-located to a lovely sea view room with balcony and air-conditioning although the shower itself was tiny. Clean sheets and towels were changed daily. There was very little information available about the hotel facilities. Wi-fi and internet connection was VERY intermittent. The hotel is situated on very busy main road with no pathways. The beach was a good 8-10 minute walk along this dangerous road and down a steep slope which was partly rough concrete and partly paved. We only walked there once. The hotel pool was a nice size and very clean with adequate sun beds and seating. Unfortunately only two evenings of entertainment. The Sunday Greek Dance Night was VERY good. The Thursday Music night started well but was rained off quite early. There are a lot of steps/stairs within the hotel complex (inside and out) A steep crazy paved slope situated to the right of the hotel was not easy to negotiate and slippery.. (This paving seems to be the usual style in the area). I would not recommend this hotel for anyone with mobility issues. There is no lift which made it difficult for me with a bad knee to negotiate the stairs. Although All-Inclusive no drinking water was supplied. Most hotels have bottled water in the room fridge. We were charged 2 Euros for a bottle of water. Food seemed quite tasty initially (best was ribs on the Sunday night), but was repetitive, and deteriorated as the week went on i.e. same fish daily but just another sauce on it to make it seem a bit different. Meat dish changed but not particularly tasty and not very Greek. I felt the food was similar on most days but tweeked (altered slightly) to make it look/taste different. The deserts were better. We were never told that, if we were going out on an excursion, a packed lunch which included sandwich, apple and bottle of water was available. The restaurant (which was more like a café) was completely self service. There were waiting staff but I could not work out what they were there to do as we were all expected to scrape our dirty plates into a bin, place them on a trolley and put our cutlery into a box while they observed. (this seemed more like being at school rather than a 3/4 star hotel). We have NEVER stayed in a hotel where we had to do this. September we were told was the bee season. {wasps) They made mealtimes especially uncomfortable swarming around the food. Eating out at breakfast and lunch was impossible due to the amount of wasps. We had not seen any mention of this in the reviews. It certainly would have deterred me from coming at this time of year. The private beach was located approx. 8-10 minute walk from the hotel along the main road. Once at the entrance, there are steep rough concrete and crazy paved slopes down to the beach which was stony, a jetty with sunbeds and umbrellas. No bar facilities (although a bar was built but not open) only water and juice machines. A very nice place to eat was a Taverna next door to the hotel by the bus stop. The town of Corfu and Benites with shops and Tavernas was a bus ride away. The hotel runs a free shuttle service into Benites. I am sorry if this appears a rather negative review but it is my personal and honest thoughts. For me and my family, we enjoyed the break but would not return.

    Lovely quiet hotel.

We had a lovely 4 person room with a large balcony and wonderful view of mainland Greece to look out on. The hotel is very small and quiet and in a fairly remote area with hardly anything around which suited us as we were looking for a relaxing chilled out holiday. Because there are only 20 odd rooms getting a sun bed or a table for dinner or a drink was never a problem. The hotel really is more for adults and not much for children which again suited us and there were only 2 children in the hotel during our stay, if I had children with me I would look for somewhere with more facilities and more attractions nearby. The private beach (about 300m) from the hotel involves walking along the edge of the road (no footpaths) and then down a steep unmade path. Once there it is again very quiet and very pleasant but no sand it's all stones and very shallow beach with plenty of sun beds. The bus stop outside the hotel goes to the village (about 10 minutes and 1.70 each way), the village is lovely with lots of shops, restaurants and beaches (all stones) and also to Corfu town (2.40 each way and about 40 minutes). I always answer my overall holiday experience with "would I go back?" In this instance Yes I would. This was my first time in Corfu and it is a lovely laid back Island and all the people are very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean, service and staff excellent. Food is quite restrictive with few options but we always found enough to eat and it was good quality so no complaints. Drinks are not the best quality but fairly usual for an AI hotel.

We spend our 10 day holiday like we have been in Poland because to many polish people in the hotel.. We arrived very late in the evening from England. The hotel is very nice and clean. My experience shows that hotel maintained very well, but I cannot rate this hotel as 4 star only 2-3 star. The food is same every day nothing change. I've had only salads which was same every day as well. The meat or fish meals its not cooked properly. The restaurant without any various food. Same food every day. The pool bar as well very poor always have drinks in a small plastic cup and always you going to ask again. The beach is stoned and you have to walk 200 metres and its not safe becouse of the traffic on the street. shame. The only thing was good Staff. Staff Vasso Mike in the bar and especially at reception really amazing. I really just want to thank you to all of you What you done for us. Advice where to go just not to stay in a hotel. Sorry for my review.

    Wonderful hotel!

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a week and honestly it exceeded our expectations massively. The rooms were clean, food was tasty and the private beach was gorgeous. The staff were all very kind and attentive, had a good laugh with them all. There was a bus stop just down the road, 5 mins from the local town and 30 mins from Corfu Town. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone!
