  Gyms Matter!

  I haven't written a review in a very long time because my reviews were not out of line with what the majority of guests have to say. However, hotel gyms matter! And they get very little air time here on TripAdvisor. So for those of you looking to stay fit and trim when you travel, look no further...! This Marriott is fairly large with 17 floors and almost 300 rooms, and very busy. The gym is a huge disappointment and the ratio of hotel size to gym size is all wrong. I've attached pictures, but the equipment is extremely limited, and when I walked in this morning the only thing available was one treadmill. There isn't enough space to do any kind of cardio bodyweight workout, the ellipticals and bikes suck (can we please get a real spin bike? A peloton, perhaps?) and the weight set is pathetically small. Not pictured is the indoor pool (not suitable for lap swimming) and hot tub. Looking on the bright side, there were plenty of towels and a refrigerator of cold bottled water. And the gym has windows and isn't 1000 degrees F. Other things to note about the hotel: 1) the train just beside it is quite noisy in the mornings, even on a high floor 2) the shower heads are excellent 3) hairdryer was missing from my room...glad I travel with one 4) room service was quick and food was decent 5) the towels are old and tired - time for new ones 6) you'll pay $10/day for the privilege of parking your car at this suburban hotel, which really annoys me. Overall the hotel is fairly average for a Marriott, but I'm going to ding them a rating bubble for the bad hotel to gym ratio. Hope this helps some other fitness nut out there who selects hotels based on proximity to gyms and/or quality of hotel gym. Also worth noting, there is a gym right around the corner from the hotel...I'll be checking it out in the morning!

  As expected. But check your bill.

  Nice people, convenient for I476 and suburban Philadelphia. Rooms are quiet if small. All reasonable. Sometimes they ask if you're parking, sometimes they don't. If the latter, they charge you for parking regardless. Respectfully, (to mgmt of hotel), this is not especially ethical. You should change your policy.

  Great property, nice room, great bar onsite, $10/day parking, great service

  We recently visited the in-laws and found this hotel to basically be at the end of their street, so the location couldn't be better for our needs. Upon check-in, Debbie was very friendly and even upgraded us (even though I'm only Silver Elite) to a corner room. The parking garage is easily accessible, and is $2/hr or $10/day. I'd recommend you park in the circle to check-in, THEN go park your car. That way you can operate the gate with your room key instead of having to get a ticket. The room was quite nice, and we enjoyed having HBO Go without having to sign in. Though we didn't utilize it, there is a pretty impressive bar/restaurant just off the lobby, so it'd be great for groups or nightcaps. The bed was comfortable, and as I said, the location was perfect for our needs. There's a Wawa across the street if you forget something or want a quick snack. We'll definitely be back for the next trip to visit the in-laws.

  Good and Bad

  The Good: Food at Sports Bar is way above average for a sports bar. Rooms are modern and showers are enclosed. The Bar: The hotel ONLY has 3 suites and you can never book one online. ALL other rooms are small for a Marriott. Chantel at the front desk was very rude when I asked about my suite upgrade and also never gave me a breakfast voucher. Nor did she greet me as a Titanium member. Adam.Hluschak did add 7500 points due to this and I thank him.

  Amazing! do not pass up!

  Parking garage is wonderful and only $10 a day, you use your room key to enter and exit. Hotel lobby is vast and gorgeous. Staff is very polite. I didn't go to the restaurant only due to a small menu. The rooms are beautiful. I was on the 9th floor, out of 15! Had an executive King Corner Suite. Wonderful bed, plenty of space, queen bed in pullout sofa. Shower was incredible as well. Standard wifi was plenty fast at 50Mbps. Nothing bad to say about the hotel or the room at all. Will be back for sure!
