    generally good, but a few flaws

    The thing that stood out to me on the negative side was the lack of available electric outles in the room as well as absolutely no USB ports. The latter is the greater issue as I see it since every guest (over age 12) has a cell phone & maybe a tablet, FitBit, bluetooth headphones, etc. Regarding the regular outlets, I had to locate in an odd spot to use & charge my laptop simotaneously. Moving past that, the rest was quite good. The room was nice, though I prefer to have a refrigerator, but I made due with ice. The room was spacious enough & had a nice sitting chair + a desk chair. The beds were unusually low off the ground, but that was OK. The TV was on the smallish side, but had a good HD picture & the channel selection was sufficient. The WiFi was fine. The room also had a coffee maker & an iron/board. The closet contained plenty of hangers. Besides the mirror in the bathroom, two other mirrors adorned the room iitself. This is a "full-service" hotel, which I typically don't stay in. I was glad I'm a Marriott Rewards member or there would have been a fee for the WiFi. There's a full-service restaurant on premesis + a bar. There's a very large indoor pool. Parking is plentiful around the perimeter of the building. The three elevators were adequate as I never had a very long wait for one. All the ataff I intereacted with were very friendly.

    January stay

    I stayed here on night for business. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating! The meeting rooms were also nice. The building itself is dated but you can tell certain areas have been redone so things must be in the works. The room itself did show a little wear and tear - fridge looked like it had seen better days(but it worked) and some of the wallpaper had some small tears etc. The bathroom had been redone and was very nice. And most of all - the room was impeccably clean. Room service was efficient and the food was good. Very nice stay!

    A Marriott "next generation motor inn" (tired) but great location

    My son & I recently stayed at this property for 8 nts. As a 28 yr veteran of Marriott I was pleased to see this hotel still standing & functioning well as (primarily a conference venue) but also a worthwhile respite for the business & leisure traveller). Noteworthy amenities are the indoor pool & concierge lounge.The rooms however are rather ordinary & need of review. As a former hotelier myself, I could see doors, corridors showing wear & tear & require attention/maintenance. Our room door 208 was badly scarred & slammed when left to close on its own. While we were pleased & appreciative of the reservation & special value offered (concierge access-internet), I would encourage more front line service engagement from associates (somewhat indifferent). The parking area also needs a resurfacing as many potholes are evident. I would highlight 3 standout associates who are role model employees & deliver consistently on "the Marriott spirit to serve promise". Two ladies in the Concierge Lounge SUSANA & MATI are gems. They make the guests feel special & show genuine friendliness, each & every day. MATI's mother, IRMA, is an outstanding performer (Public Area Cleaner) who goes out of her way to recognize guests she passes with a natural smile that beams with happiness-job satisfaction. Thank you SB Marriott for a pleasurable stay.

    A great place to stay

    I stayed in Saddle Brook because a relative was having surgery nearby. I booked 3 nights initially. Wasnt sure how many additional nights I might need so I spoke to Michael at the front desk. I explained situation. He told me to let him know in the morning if I needed to add days. I thought wow how many other places would have done that. I am a platinum elite member but didnt realize how much they value our loyalty, and I am grateful! The housekeeper on my floor, Zofija, is a gem. She would see me in the morning and checked to make sure I had everything I needed. Besides being such a lovely person the room was immaculate. Felt so good to go there at the end of a long day. As a platinum member we get to eat in the concierge lounge. Susana and Mati who work in the lounge are terrific. They couldnt do enough for you. They really make your day. Everyone I encountered here were personable, considerate and professional. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

    Average Marriott. Nice staff but between two highways so expect to hear cars. Can not say anything about services as everything was closed during COVID. Approximately 30 min from ERW and 50 minutes to New York
