  Get away for a few nights

  I decided to stay here to just getaway from home for a few nights and to deliver care packages to family. The check in process was simple and efficient, however I was the only person at the counter. I would have liked a bit of explanation for my dining options I.e. whats open and the hours. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were friendly.

  Avoid if you have allergies!! Kitchen and General Manager dont give 2 hoots!!

  I advised of severe allergy when ordering room service, and still wound up in the emergency room due to anaphylaxis. General Manager was left voicemail and a week later hasnt bothered to call. If you are looking for a romantic staycation or getaway in Medicine Hat, the Holiday Inn has nicer rooms and Ive never had an issue with them feeding me food Ive warned Im severely allergic to!! Reserved two nights. First night there was too much noise to sleep, and second night ended with anaphylaxis. Front desk refunded one night, and they feel that is enough, I guess. If you have kids with allergies, please stay ANYWHERE else in Medicine Hat!!

  26th anniversary

  A few problems with the room to start but with in an hour everything was rectified. With Crona a lot was not allowed, pool, hot tub, but was still a good stay. If this Covig was over would have been a lot better.

  Passing through

  Good beds, clean room and the hospitality was really appreciated when our UHaul wouldnt start in the morning in -25c. The front desk attendant did not rush us off at checkout time making it less stressful. Its the little kindnesses that mean the most when travelling. Thank you!

  A Mini Resort

  Best Place in town. We had a very clean room, the staff even took the time to add a few extra romantic touches for us so thoughtful. A spa right in the hotel..... The pool area boasted the best water slide I've ever seen in a hotel, for families you can even get a room poolside to allow you to have a drink on your balcony while you watch the kids. The only Casino for hours in every direction is located right in the hotel. At least 3 restaurants in house including the best steak house which we ate at, and was well worth it. Whether your visiting the Hat or looking for a staycation this is the place to stay in my opinion this hotel has it all.
