  Peaceful and quiet stay even though its close to good shopping/restaurants

  Beware, there are several Meitetusu Inns (similar to Comfort/Days Inn) in Nagoya. I thought I booked in another location and realised after reaching that I am booked near Nagoya Station. However, this is a very good location... close to good shopping areas, restaurants as well as walking distance to Nagoya Station and other major metro lines. Overall, my stay was quiet and peaceful... room was a bit small compared to elsewhere in US/Europe, but quite functional and comfortable with good bed and choices for pillows. Will certainly recommend to anyone who would like to mix business travel and sightseeing like I did.

  Good for a short stay near the station

  We stayed here for 1 night to explore Nagoya. The location was convenient, with a 5-10 minute walk to the Nagoya station. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, albeit small, which is normal for basic hotels in Japan. A buffet breakfast is available, and there is a good selection of reastaurants in the nearby side streets too. Good for a short stay, but nothing to make it stand out as exceptional.

  Near Nagoya Station

  Stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. Rooms are small, as usual, but clean. Eateries around so meals are pretty much taken care of. Its pretty neat to Nagoya Station and the subway lines, I reckon maybe about 300-400m.

  Convenient, good value, clean

  Within 10 minute walk of Sakura-dori exit of Nagoya Station. Lots of eateries and convenience stores nearby in surrounding neighborhood. Room size on the small size (not much floor space between bed, desk and walls, but typical (or lightly better) than typical Japanese business hotel. Bathroom, again on small side, but clean and nicely appointed. Only one washer/dryer (combined single machine) in single laundry room (4th floor), so be prepared to wait if someone else is using it. Staff friendly, speaks basic front-desk English.

  Small Room Convenient Location

  Booked 1 night on Booking.com with a rate of $70 per night without Breakfast. We were in Room 501. The hotel is close to the Nagoya train station - few minute walk. We arrived on the JR Shinkansen from Okayama. The Nagoya train station is massive and confusing so we couldn't find the underground to the hotel and had to walk outside. If you can find Unimall, look for exit U4 or U6 and that is the closest exit to the hotel. Our room was the smallest room available and it is quite small with 1 side of the bed against the wall. We checked in late and left early so it was fine for 1 night. The bathroom was small as well. There is no bottled water provided but there is a sign in the bathroom saying the water is safe to drink. There are slippers and pajamas provided. The room was relatively clean. A mini fridge is also provided. However, there is no in room safe. The WiFi was quite slow and somewhat unusable. The hotel is connected to Komeda Coffee. In the morning, we ate breakfast there. That is quite convenient. Overall I would say it was a good stay for the price we paid.
