  Such a lovely, well kept and friendly home!

  Signora Mirella, the land lady, is such a delightful hostess! Her house is like a home-away-from home retreat. Well furnished, well kept and extremely clean. The house its set in a residential area not too far from Cagliari . The splendid beach of Chia is 40 minutes easy drive and there is plenty to see in the area as well. the only down point is that you must have a car to get to the B&B and to roam around. But if you are looking for a full relax stay, made of cozy days,nice food and cuddle...this is the place to go. we will definitely come back. Lucy

  Absolute perfection

  My wife and I spent 8 highly enjoyable, relaxing nights at Melagranada, hosted by the lovely Mirella. The B&B is in a quiet residential area around 25 minutes' drive from Cagliari (you will definitely need a car). The room was large, clean and very comfortable, as is the whole house. It is conveniently placed for any number of wonderful beaches, places of interest and some excellent restaurants. Mirella is a welcoming and gracious hostess, an intelligent and knowledgeable lady who speaks decent Italian, of course, English and fluent French. She is very helpful in suggesting places to visit and how to get around. She also cooks. BOY, does she cook! Breakfasts at Melagaranada are an absolute joy. Wonderful home-made Sardinian specialities, great coffee, yoghurt... yummy :-) If you are very fortunate, Mirella may also cook you dinner. We ate well throughout our vacation - there is no shortage of excellent restaurants in the area, but the dinner our hostess prepared for us was just beautiful; by a mile our favourite meal of the week. Staying at Melagranada - and spending time with Mirella is a privilige. HIGHLY recommended
