  Overall quite good

  Great welcome and friendly staff. Overall room was clean and well maintained. However the insides of the windows in the room look like they have not been cleaned for a very, very long time. Restaurant, which is not owned by the hotel, was a disappointment and not recommended.

  Noisy and lack of amenities

  Rooms face directly onto the main NSW-VIC road, it was very noisy even late at night. Staff at front desk friendly. Room service and restaurant only open Monday-thursday, not helpful for weekend travel. Basic TV, no added services. Musty smell. Save your money and stay at a 3 star as this is on the same par but for 225 a night, we expected better.

  BED WAS ROCK HARD

  We booked this hotel on the net and understood it to be one of the better hotels in the area It is well situated on the main street but away from the main tourist shopping area The complex presents well from the outside On entering the room we found it to be light and airy, and being a King room there was plenty of floor space. A small sofa, table and chairs were the furnishing. The hanging cupboard, and the cupboard containing the fridge etc were oddly old, sort of from an op shop, and out of character with the premises themselves. The shower and ensuite were equipped with all the necessities. Were it not for two matters it would have rated much higher:- 1. The King Bed was the hardest and most uncomfortable either of us had ever experienced. Neither of us got a good nights sleep in the two nights we were there. Discussed with reception which offered perhaps an overlay. That would have been OK but when we saw the staff member prepared to service the rooms she was surprised at my question and replied the hotel did not have overlays. 2. Water pressure was poor. Clearly a gravity system. The shower outlet rose was approx 25 cm in diameter and that is the sum total of the water spread WiFi was hit and miss for those who may be interested. about 10-15 mb/sec the nights we were there

  Nice place

  Mercure Port of Echuca is a great place to stay at , The room was excellent very clean and tidy. The staff again was so friendly and helpful. They look after us . The Mercure is in a perfect location so close to town. Looking forward to coming back

  Ideal location in Echuca

  Mercure Port of Echuca lived up to expectation for the brand, the service was friendly, the room provided all that we needed and we were very pleased with the upgrade. COVID protocols were well managed. It was a short walk to excellent restaurants (the Mercure's restaurant being closed because of the restrictions) Highly recommended for a stay in Echuca.
