  Estupenda opción

  Es un hotel muy cómodo, limpio, bonito, bien atendido y con buenos servicios. El desayuno es variado y de bastante calidad, yendo desde el típico desayuno asiático al americano. Está algo alejado de la zona turística, lo que le aporta un ambiente muy tranquilo, aunque hay varias opciones en transporte público. Muy recomendable.

  Holiday in Vietnam to see local life, don't use this hotel

  Merperle hotel seems nice. Lots of people to work, but service attitude is low. Even if there is big party, bar is not open for hotel quests. in nearby area there is no life in evenings, need to take taxi always for 5 km.

  See through shower

  So my dad and I were given a room that has a see through glass pane between the room and the shower, and of course the bathroom beyond. No big deal, there's a nifty blind that you can rotate to block visibility, right? (personally I still think this is weird, and not only because if someone uses the bathroom at night they light up the whole room). Except in our room, you can't. Not completely at least. The blind is busted and won't rotate the blind upwards, which actually blocks visibility. And it won't completely turn down either, so that from the near end of the room you can see through the cracks of the blinds in to the shower. And from inside, while showing, you can see across almost the entire room. I asked management to fix this and was simply told it was not a problem. And since I'm staying here with my dad it's really not. But I'm sure other guests might have roommates this might be far more grevious for. And besides, this is just too bizarre to have to deal with at a decent hotel. So heads up if you're looking for hotels in the area. (p.s. Do not close the blinds if they get wet. If you open them again some of them get stuck together and you have to separate each by hand) (p.p.s. The view out the window is somewhat lacking)

  Comfortable & Value-for-Money for a Business Traveler

  Merperla is an ideal choice for a business traveler or rather for someone specifically in Ho Chi Minh to attend an exhibition at the Saigon Convention Center. Its located in District 7 and the city comes alive around District 1. So if you are visiting HCM for business meetings or tourists, look for accommodation in District 1 or around. Merperla, however, is located minutes from the Convention Center and is a lovely hotel to stay in. Make sure you ask for rooms on the top floor facing the convention center for a lovely view. Rooms are spacious, equipped with all basic amenities to ensure your comfort. The hotel also offers in-room dining facilities and serves some decent choice of dishes. The would have only a dish or two if you are a vegetarian, however otherwise, a good menu to choose from. Portions and quality of the food - really good. The hotel also serves a good breakfast. The staff is friendly, accommodative and cooperative. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the exhibition center almost every 20-30 minutes and immediately if you make a decent request to the staff. Make sure you book early to grab a good deal, otherwise the hotel is a little expensive (but worth it) compared to other good & limited stay options around the convention center. To sum it all, I had a comfortable and a really memorable stay at the hotel.

  Class & Elegance , Wonderful Hotel

  Booked 3 Nights and I could not have felt happier staying in such a nice hotel. Ever stayed in a room in which you feel all the comforts of home then the Crystal Palace in District 7 is for you . From the GM , through the management staff to all the staff they are outgoing and very responsible in their positions. Nice room , Excellent bedding and pillows and a great central air system. So without doubt I highly recommend a wonderful hotel to stay in District 7. Half mile easy walk to Crescent Mall and many really good restaurants.
