  Es como estar en una novela

  Lo primero es que los jardines son una pasada, solo por el entorno merece la pena ir. El servicio es lo siguiente mejor, de lo más amable y dispuesto, dándole un ambiente cuasi familiar a tu estancia. La comida está buena y muy bien presentada. Los salones de espera son muy acogedores pasta tomar una pint o un vino mientras esperas tu comida. Las habitaciones son correctas, el colchón algo blando y el agua caliente tarda un poco en salir. Pero, en definitiva, el entorno es excepcional. Los precios, eso sí, fluctúan bastante.

  Appalling, worst experience, don't waste your money,

  This was before lockdown,I've been waiting for response to my complaint all this time. £385 2 nights B&B, incl. use Health and Fitness Club. I paid extra for lunch & Dinners, which at best was mediocre but got worse,one dinner we left most of the main course, the desert which was supposed to be rhubarb tasted disgusting; also not eaten.The waitress didn't seem to be surprised and offered no replacement. We ordered afternoon tea, the teapot had old food stuck to the inside of the lid, the response from the waitress was "oh do you want me to make another?" The swimming pool heating had failed so it was cold, when we spoke to Hotel reception we were told "sorry we have reported it". A member of the Fitness Club said it had been broken for at least a week nothing had been done. The only positive of this expensive experience, is the Manor house from the outside and its setting is beautiful, but the interior tired and not clean. Bedroom grubby and obviously not seen a vacuum cleaner. When we checked out I mentioned all of this and was politely told to write to the manager, had it not been a treat for my daughter I would of refused to pay the full bill but thinking that I would receive some thought of gesture from the manager I did pay in full; regrettably. I wrote 4 times to the manager and phoned, he was never available and I even asked for the owner, also not available, asked for someone to call me but this never happened, to this day I have not even had the courtesy of a reply.

  What is up with the dragon running bookings??

  My booking was changed for a wedding which was cancelled. So I called up to ask details, was my booking moved, when too ect. The whole thing was really surreal. The woman was arrogant, like I was so lucky to be allowed into her hotel, she seemed really cross that I'd called to find out my booking details and was kind of.. Sarcastic? I'm just not sure WHY Surely this was a run of the mill conversion given covid? Customer service isn't the best job, we all know it. Definitely the customer is not always right. But I didn't have a complaint in the first place. I half thought it was some prank or something..

  Terrible customer service

  Following an enjoyable visit to the Spa in November I booked two treatments in the Spa as Christmas presents for my mum and daughter for 29th Dec. £70 in total. Lockdown meant they could not attend. No contact from Miskin Manor. No reply to any of my several emails or phone calls and no refund given. Very disappointed with the extremely poor customer service and wont be booking again when the Spa is open.

  Don`t risk ruining your wedding plus they ignore complaints.

  I`m so surprised to see Amanda Rosenthal replying on this platform. As you can see from other reviews she usually refuses to engage at all. Don`t be fooled by the excuse that she didn`t see emails, she will not come to the phone nor reply to registered mail (which she can`t deny she has received). After a wedding which was ruined for a number of reasons we were promised compensation which we never received. It`s impossible to contact her so perhaps all of us who are waiting for refunds could go down there together and give her the opportunity to pay up face to face?
