  Beautiful Hotel

  This is a beautiful Marriott located just a short walk away from a few restaurants and breweries. I felt slightly uncomfortable as a solo female traveler walking around the area by myself at night so I would use caution. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are super friendly. The only qualm I would have is that the parking is quite far away, but they allow you to unload your car in the front which helps.

  Horrible Experience for Minority Travelers especially hispanics!

  I am/was an elite member of Marriott Awards. However, driving into this areas was an eye opener for me in 2020. I never expected to be treated as though I did not belong as an Hispanic. I was not given the typical Marriott Elite Member check-in ..ok maybe Covid, but I went to the restaurant to get carry out and ordered a drink as I was waiting....20 minutes before it arrived, then I took a Zoom Conference Call between 6 and 7 pm and had management knocking on my door about "noise". Not 2 or 3 in the morning but 6 to 7 pm! When, I said there was no way my conference call disturbed anyone, the hotel staff doubled down, Why? Because I am hispanic! What a racist hotel. No way can I possibly be a legit business woman, and yet I am. How sad! And with all of that I have to put up with substandard cleaning methods. Check out the mold in the bathroom!

  Nice view

  This hotel is beautiful and located right on the river. The rooms are large and many overlook the water. There is a walking/biking trail that runs along the water right behind the hotel. This was great for exercise and for accessing the many restaurants nearby. There are a few nice restaurants and a cute little breakfast cafe within walking distance. This was great since the Starbucks and the bar area in the lobby were not open due to Covid. You could also make tea or coffee in your room if prefer. The room was spotless and the bathroom very large. We called and asked for extra pillows and they arrived in minutes. The parking garage is attached to the hotel at the other end of the conference area of the hotel. Just a short walk through the building. Staff was very friendly. Will stay here again

  Great hotel

  Got a really good rate through the Hopper app. Rooms were big, bed was great. I was familiar with the hotel, but 1st time staying there. My only gripe was paying for parking. I know thats normal for big cities, but Morgantown. Thats why I didn't give it a 5.

  We would stay again!

  Great staff. Great location. Elevators were clean and fast. Halls wide and clean. We had room #705, it was a corner king with river view. Bed was comfortable, T.V. was huge! Towels were fresh. Fake hard wood floors are ridiculous, as is the sliding door combo bathroom/closet door contraption. Pool & Hot tub were great. When you get off the elevator to go to the pool area, it's a little creepy. not gonna lie.. Hot tub was very big and all the jets worked, which is a luxury. Pool area could use decor. Having all the big windows and outside area is a bonus. Luggage carts in good working order. A little tricky to maneuver through the double front doors though. Access to a beautiful walking/biking trail is right out of the main entrance, down some stairs. We walked to 'Table 9" for dinner. It was outstanding! Our only issue with parking was the $12 fee per day. Check-out was easy. We will be back in that area soon and will stay here again. Hopefully their restaurant and all the other amenities will be back in action, like Housekeeping.... and we'll get to really appreciate the Full Service aspect of this Marriott.
