  Excellent!

  We (family with 2 small kids) came 2 times to this hotel and we were very well served and helped. The location is nice, the staff very frendly and the facilities are great. The indoor pool was nice, teh kids loved it.

  As good as ever!

  We made a welcome return to the Naturpark Hotel, Ebinsee after discovering it by chance last year when we were seeking affordable accommodation in the Backnang area. This hotel combines a very reasonable tariff with a lovely location with lakeside walks, forests and Schwabian hospitality. The staff have been friendly and helpful and the hotel has a lovely chilled ambience. Delicious food too. There is a small, but perfectly adequate, swimming pool and sauna to enjoy - and very comfortable lounges that add to the relaxed atmosphere. Our rooms were pretty spacious with big windows. All in all, just what we needed.

  Reasonable food at an OK price.

  Naturpark Hotel Ebnisee is a hotel & restaurant located next to the Ebnisee Lake. In summer you can dine or have a beer at the terrace. We stayed at a nearby hotel and came for dinner on a weekday. The terrace was relatively busy, a good sign. The menu offers traditional German dishes. Decoration and table decoration give the restaurant a slightly out-dated ambiance. Staffs are friendly and service is adequate. Parking next door. We recommend the restaurant of Naturpark Hotel Ebnisee to anyone who seeks OK food at a reasonable price.

  Nice hotel by a lake

  A very good hotel close to the busy Ebnisee lake and a focal point for several walks. It is on multiple levels so takes a bit of initial orientation and the entrance is at the rear but not easy to get to by car. Just park and a short walk. It was just out of season when we arrived so the gardens, play areas and spa facilities were deserted but eating or drinking on the various terraces in the early evening was a delight. The staff were very attentive and helpful especially the receptionist who set us straight on the Roman sites like Aalen. Area is very popular with bikers, walkers and cyclists. The food was very good and was of great amusement to us as the kitchen was close to our dining room and the sounds of warfare echoed especially when I ordered the gorgonzola eis special (that I had to try!) which they didnt have. The food, although very good, was the only let down in that the menu was limited to 3 starters and around 5 main courses and the special set menus had to be ordered 3 days in advance. For a longer stay this might be a downer but this might be due to the seasons end. Excellent service by three non-German waiters. The room was very good but suffered a little from the traffic, which although a minor road, can be busy early mornings and a little noisy as hotel is on a sharp bend and a short steep hill.

  Nice location but dated hotel

  We stayed here for a week while doing business in the area. The hotel is situated in an area of natural beauty but very little amenities. The room I had was very small (two single beds squeezed in) and very dated looking. The shower, while functional, was weak and looked very old. The list of tv stations showed some English news channels after station 31 but unfortunately the channels stopped at station 30. The food in the restaurant was good quality, though the menu was quite small. The breakfast buffet was fine. There is very little to do in the area in the evenings but the owner insisted on closing the bar at around 22:30, there are no other places to go so I had no option but to return to my little room to watch German language tv!
