  Algo caro para lo que cuesta la noche, la verdad es que no lo calificaría de 3 estrellas, no llega al nivel. El desayuno sí estaba bien, desayuno inglés típico y muy rico, para aguantar toda la mañana. La comunicación es excelente, justo enfrente de la parada de tren y cerca de la estación de autobuses. El Wifi no llegaba muy bien a la tercera planta.

  Struggling to find the words

  AVOID AVOID AVOID is the moral of the story haven't seen a single person wearing any kind of masks despite the signage..staying here unfortunately due to a last minute cancellation by another hotel I wouldn't call this a hotel more a halfway house guests are up all night smoking outside in nightwear a common theme!!!!!

  Poor hotel, very mucky.

  Upon arrival, the first room i was given was tiny, filthy, moldy walls, dusty, cracked swollen wooden frames. Also the shower leaked very badly, to the extent that more of the water was coming out of the fixing down the wall, than the shower head. Very concerned as there may have been electrical wires within the wall. After i complained i Was put in another room. Again, very filthy, settled dust, mouldy walls and shower. Carpet ripped. They had the tv remote in a air tight bag.. which I thought had been cleaned and sanitized. Oh how wrong i was.. My door frame looked like it had been broken into previously. Which was concerning, as they dont have safes within the rooms. To say there is an ongoing pandemic, the lack of cleanliness was worrying to say the least. Please just check out the photos i have uploaded. Theres more than enough proof there to make people aware that this hotel, needs to be avoided. Such a same really, as itself is a grade 2 listed building. The outside looks nice. But thats all i can say really!

  Dirty rooms,no view from windows, lift never works,hardly ever an food on,total nightmare,never again,run by a man from

  disgusting place,room was terrible dirty,and cleaners gardly ever seen,never any food on ,and no views from windows,couldent swing a cat,heard bed bugs on lower floors, wouldent stay in that place ever again,

  Hotel from hell

  So my partner has recently fled a domestic dispute from Birmingham and had booked into the North Stafford Hotel for a week until she had secured a house in Newcastle-Under-Lyme to move into, since we have been staying here there has been nothing but crime and illegal activities going on involving the hotel, Thursday 28th January. We woke to the sound of police running down our hallway looking for a sex worker and a drug dealer that was trying to break into peoples rooms. Saturday 30th January, a lunatic with a machete was running around the premises and we got put into immediate lockdown, we had to all stay in our rooms, lock windows and doors then wait until the police had taken the criminal away from the hotel. Several hours later, another person broke into the room next to me and my partner and the police were called out again. This hotel has been nothing but bad luck since my partner checked into the hotel, my partner suffers with mental health issues including complex PTSD. You may say why not just check out and leave its not that easy when one half of you is homeless and the other half is only there to keep the other half safe as theyre new to the area. I go to sleep at night thinking about the safety of the others considering the room next door to me and my partner got broken into just hours after the machete wielding lunatic. We will not be staying here again as it is a hot spot for criminal activity and the police being called out numerous times. Please do not stay at this hotel for your own safety avoid this hotel like the plague. Nina.
