  Excellent Customer Service

  Was staying during Coronovirus time, so an unusual time. The room was nice, clean & comfortable. Located across the road from Woolworths, Dan Murphy and Jett Fitness. What distinguishes this hotel from many others was the customer service: going WAY above and beyond, and they had fast and efficient responses to requests. Food was pretty tasty. Thersia at the front desk is a star worker, but all were great. They even put in for a lockdown birthday cake for me. Terrific. :)

  14 Days Quarantine

  I was sent here for my quarantine period after arriving from overseas. What a pleasure it was to stay here. The staff made our stay as comfortable as possible whom also went to the supermarket for me to get what I needed. The food was good with three choices for every meal. Thanks for everything!

  Quarantine 14 days in June 2020

  Rooms are good for a night's stay as they are likely intended to be built for but staying in a room that size for 14 days, no opening window and only get to the roof top once a day for exercise where the pool is out of order due to a leak. WIFI is terrible. I flew from Papua New Guinea where I work on a remote island and the internet there is far better then the hotel. Telstra phone signal is not much better so hotspot from the phone is useless unless you have an Optus service. This is a common topic of the frustrated guests on the tiny tiled rooftop

  Quarantine Wellness Retreat

  I'm about to finish my 14 day mandatory hotel quarantine in Brisbane and I can't say enough good things about this hotel. If you end up here you have scored the jackpotl. It is right near the airport train but I didn't even know this until I heard the train during one of my fresh air breaks on the rooftop because they have done such a good job with the soundproofing. The room was very clean - I know because when I swept and then wiped the floors one week in (with the complimentary cleaning set) all the dust was mine. My room had lots of floor to ceiling windows so plenty of natural light and a nice view to the southwest so a beautiful sunset every single evening. Because none of the rooms have balconies the Qld Police kindly facilitated several exercise and fresh air breaks for us everyday (until our COVID tests on Day#10 after which we have been room bound). They felt sorry for me being in Q and I felt sorry for them having to escort and watch us exercise "in the yard". They are champions and thank you to Qld Health for funding this (and our laundry expenses). It makes such a huge difference. We had a completely new menu every three days with three seperate options (plus a kids menu which also usually looked good) per meal and choice of two delivery times. WIFI is fine and apparently staff will go and shop for guests at the nearly Woolies for guests but I didn't need them to do this for me because the meals were fine (and they included some snacks likes nuts, cherry ripes and occasionally chips) and friends and family were able to drop off any incidentals that I needed. The hotel has some suites and they seem to go to the people with kids or who need to work while they are in quarantine etc so it is worth asking when you check in. I managed to get one and I'm sure having the extra space made a big difference to my well-being. Finally, I cannot fault any of the staff i had contact with, directly or indirectly. The roof top and basement exercise area were always clean, the food well-considered, nicely presented and good to eat, new towels etc and laundry services were prompt and professional and the reception staff impeccable. They were never ever short or grumpy and I had plenty of requests and they followed up every single time. I can only imagine how hard that job would get sometimes. I look forward to staying here again and enjoying the pool and the restaurants and the local shopping opportunities (DFO, ASICS, Woolworths)! All in all it felt like a wellness retreat - admittedly in part because I decided not drink any alcohol and to try and eat healthily while in quarantine but amazing that the hotel was able to facilitate that. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

  So grateful

  The staff have been absolutely amazing and we've been blessed to be assigned here for our 14 day quarantine. Everyone was more than accommodating to our needs, especially with a 2yo who had no clue why we were locked in a room for 14 days. Best staff experience of any hotel we've stayed in! We want to especially thank Thersha, she has been our angel!
