  Better and cheaper than hotel

  Great apartment. Looked brand new, equipped with washer drier Full kitchen etc.. Roof top garden is equipped with 2 top of the range bbq's which are free to use and is a great spot to chill out in the evening. Right in the middle of town surrounded by good bars, restaurants and grocery stores. Street car next street over and close to some excellent food trucks. As has been mentioned Chris on the front desk is a top guy and goes out of his way to help. Car "matrix" parking is pretty funky but a bit tricky to start with. Would definitely stay there again.

  Location!

  Amazing location right in the heart of the pearl district. Clean well appointed suites. Wonderful roof top patio with fireplace and bbq's. Fantastic staff available to help with any request. Close to whole foods for the essential grocery run. Lovely stay at oakwood!

  Portland's Best-Kept Secret

  Location, location, location! This property is in the heart of the Pearl District and is an ideal launching pad for every activity the city has to offer. The building is clean and modern, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's also pet-friendly, so Fido can come too. The rooftop BBQs are a real treat in the summer, as are the views from the deck. If you're someone who enjoys self-catering and wants to spend more than a few days in Portland I highly recommend the Oakwood Pearl! You won't be disappointed.

  THE place to stay in Pearl

  I will keep it very simple: I am living there for a few days yet and still for some more weeks to come and I must say I fell like home. I would definitely live there if I would to install in Portland. The apartment is superb! Modern, efficient, sound proof, confortable; Windows open wide!! Superb kitchen installation! Only two minor turn downs: dinner table is soooo small; a 4 seats would have been appreciated even if the room is for two occupants only and the shower: efficient but a standup shower with rainfall shower would have been great. But still no a deal breaker; it is overall EXCELLENT!

  Highly satisfied

  The property was very clean and well maintained. Location was convenient to many bars, restaurants, and Powell Books. Secure overnight parking is nearby. Our apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We will stay at Oakwood again!
