  Great location and good value for money

  We stayed here for 5 nights in October, hotel is in a great location for exploring the island, staff were very helpful and the room clean. However the hotel could do with a refurb, the paint was peeling on the balcony and the indoor pool had a few broken windows. The outdoor pool was closed something we werent aware of until we arrived even though the weather was still warm.

  No English speaking staff, low service

  Dreadful experience. No English speaking staff. Sent back and forth to make reservations. This hotel seems to be strictly limited to only Japanese and should not be visited by any other nationalities.

  Looks can be deciving

  This "resort" is in a very nice location with a private beach over seeing nature, city, and the ocean. I have to give them 2.5 stars for the feeling of nostalgia and some of the staff was friendly. I would have given them a 3.5 if it would not have been for the ride front desk staff, when my wife asked for child tooth brush. In an aggravated manner she raised her voice and said wait, then ignored us. After checking in, when we got to our room and opens the door we was greeted with the overwhelming smell of mold and mildew. On the surface everything appeared great. The longer I stayed in the room the more I noticed, liked mold on the walls, wood furniture, packed dust in the air vents, picture frames. The bathroom also had black mold on the curtain rod, in-between the wall tiles and in the rim of the sink. The kids didn't notice they where happy jumping in the beds. Breakfast was really great aside from the runny eggs and the under cooked fresh omelette, lol. Again the esthetics is not so pleasing. Kid chairs had food that hasn't been cleaned, the leather booth and seats where sticky. The corner of the wall was falling off, my daughter couldn't help but point that out to me. The wooden floor has not been polished in years and you can clearly see the scuff marks of chairs being dragged across the floor. So it's not that bad if your not into staying at a clean facility. I mean if the guest spaces are this clean I can only imagine the cooking spaces.... I really dislike writing negative reviews, so I hope this rent and the following advice will add value to the facility. I've only noticed the cleanliness of the facility. There are several options to fix this, hire a company to come in and deep clean and replace old furniture, hire more staff, compensate staff for the quality of the work, or close a portion of the facility for renovations.

  Took the risk

  Read and gave some thumbs up some of the reviews here about the hotel. But I still took the risk to book the hotel. Ok, this is a big hotel with many shops, two spas. Many people checked in so there was a queue. Staff could speak some simple English. Room is clean. But pillow too soft. Nice view from room.

  Great family-type resort

  I am a frequent visitor to Okinawa but this was the first time for me and my family to stay at this specific hotel. Overall great facilities. Very family-friendly. The nearby private beach has terrific water sports including the unrivalled sea walk experience I did twice with my son. He also loved the glass-making workshop which is a great creative activity for kids. The BBQ dinner buffet was splendid. We stayed for a week during the global pandemic and it was sad to see so few people at such a big place. But the resort staff were really making those of us there really feel welcome. Also, with fewer people around, it was very easy to relax by the hotel pool. Great ocean and nature views from our hotel room.
