  Perfect!

  Our stay at Patong bay view was great. Upon arrival the mini bus we came in did not take us all the way to the hotel, so our generous host was waiting to drive us there himself! Once we got to our room the view was to die for, and the room itself was sizeable and very comfortable. We were provided with cold water every day without fail and fresh towels. Also we were told about places to see and places to eat which was very helpful. The moped rental there is very good value for money and I highly recommend you hire one to visit all Phuket had to offer. At the end of our trip we needed to get to Bangkok and, as per usual, all the travel agents were charging extortionate amounts. So we asked at our hotel, we were very please to be informed that he could drive us to the bus stop and help us get a ticket, which turned out to be so much cheaper. Thankyou so much for a great stay, hopefully we will see you again in the future! Molly and Alex

  Great stay!

  We enjoyed our stay at Patong Bay View Resort until the end. Clean rooms and the view from the balcony is wonderful. It is located on a very steep mountain, but even our Tuk- Tuk Taxi managed to get there (altough we were scared though). We rented a scooter there for a very good price. The owners are caring, friendly and welcoming- everyday asking if we need some help or advice. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the towels changed, aircon and fan worked perfectly. The Resort is not exactly in the centre of Patong, which is great if you aren't looking for noisy nights or drunk people. Anyways, a scooter drive to the beach and centre won't take you longer than ten minutes. We'll definetely come back when visiting Phuket the next time!

  Nice ambiance and clean!!

  We stay at bungalow house for couple of the months really good, affordable price than the others, cheap motorbike rent. Quite and relaxing ambiance day and awesome scenery during night time. The owner they really takes care to the guests..Change the bed sheets regularly. For sure I will recommend here to my friends who's having thier trips to patong Phuket.

  No frills, inexpensive hotel, with great customer service

  We stayed in this hotel for three nights. It's location can be hard to find initially as a mini van driver struggled to find it and a Turk tuk driver who dumped us after he struggled to locate this place after a night out. It is up a very steep hill and a load of steps. It is a budget hotel with everything the budget traveller needs. Air con and hot shower. Breathtaking views across patong. Trevor and Narin are great hosts washing our clothes and Trevor picking us up when we were stranded. Giving his number out staying call me anything 24 hrs a day if you need anything. Yeah right I thought, however true to his word we made a late night call and he collected us after being stranded by tuk tuk. The lesson is take hotel card out with you. Once you get your bearings and knowing your just up a hill from Nanai rd getting back gets easier as time goes on. I wish them both well in their new hotel venture nearby and will look them up when I'm back in town. Their usp is the view and the personable attitude.

  Felt really let down

  First up I would say the only saving grace was the staff who were so welcoming and friendly. I would not call this place a resort but just plain accommodation set in the hills. It is not for people like us in their sixties who found it so difficult to even walk up to the top building in the hill where our accommodation was situated. It relied on getting a vehicle to pick up us up to go down to breakfast and return after. Every time we left our room we had to get a vehicle to pick us up and return us up the steep winding road to our room and still climb sixty more steep steps to our room. I just found there were problems on a daily basis. I found it not a resort as it was just accommodation and nothing more. Maybe in time when the construction of the new buildings are completed it maybe a place to stay but certainly not at the moment.Offer airport transportation yes but at their price and able to obtain a much much cheaper rate in Patong.
