Beautiful location, great breakfast, perfect location!

We absolutely loved our week stay here for my surprise birthday trip! The staff were so friendly and helpful but they gave you your space and it just felt like being at home. The couple that own the hotel are so lovely. The room we stayed in was very clean and had recently been refurbished and painted it was lovely! The view of the mountains was amazing. Very comfy bed and spacious room. The included breakfast was fantastic, cold buffet with fruit, yoghurt and drinks and then we were served each day and asked for our hot breakfast order with lots of toast and tea or coffee. The location of the guest house is perfect, walking distance to the town. Lots of activities and amazing walks with waterfalls to do nearby only a short drive away. At the guest house we used the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna every day and we were the only ones in! It was so perfect and relaxing. You can use the facilities at any time even through the night! Would have just liked the pool to be a little warmer as the jacuzzi was connected and wasn't very hot. The facilities were amazing and so tranquil. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and very homely. I was also surpised with a lovely birthday card and some chocolate on my birthday! We would definitely return!

    Lovely little break

We stayed here for a 2 night break. We were welcomed by mr buis who was inviting and considerate. The room was light and had a lovely queen sized bed with views across the hills which was lovely. The breakfast was good..however was only limited to an hour time scale to have between 815 and 915 would of also recommended to have some soft music in the background. The guest house was old in need of maybe some modernising...however overall a pleasant stay and would go back again.

    Good value and friendly welcome

We were in room 6, at the front 2nd floor. 9 also had a front view. The room had everything we needed and decor was fresh. A pair of elderly armchairs were comfortable but did not add to the ambience. We had breakfast in the lounge (distancing) which was rather dated with sinking sofas and a large teddy bear. A makeover wouldnt go amiss. (Apparently there are usually teddies all over the place but they have been banished: we saw them through the window of a small 2nd floor room, noses pressed to the glass.) Breakfast was fine, choice was reasonable for a B&B, extra mushrooms and coffee no problem. I used the pool, only 1 person/bubble at a time for now. This was a bonus in a small B &B. The pool house was a bit sparse as non-essentials had been removed. With French windows to the garden would make this a pleasant space on a sunny day. It took us 15 minutes to walk to the railway station, a torch was provided as the route is rural and unlit. Covid hygiene was up to scratch. All personnel were welcoming and efficient.

    Perfect!

The Park Hill guest house is an absolutely beautiful place to stay in an ideal location surrounded by stunning, picturesque views. Jaap and Ghislaine do such a tremendous job of making you feel welcome with their very friendly and engaging manner. Our room was lovely and the view was amazing. Located barely a couple of minutes walk outside the village, it was tranquil and peaceful, and everywhere that we wanted to visit during our weekend there was within easy driving distance, with Mount Snowdon being about 30 minutes away. We had the perfect weekend there that couldn't have been any better. Though the purpose of our trip wasn't to stay indoors but to get out and about walking up the mountains an stunningly beautiful countryside, the fact that our accommodation was so lovely really was the cherry on top that made our little weekend break all the more better. We cannot wait to go back, and I highly recommend the Park Hill if looking for somewhere in this neck of the woods. 10/10!

    Great location, nice hotel

We stayed in the mountain view room for 2 nights. A very comfortable and nicely appointed room. Fabulous view. The bathroom was a bit 'old-fashioned' but it was clean and functional - and recently decorated - how much time do you want to spend in a bathroom anyway? Nice welcome from the hosts, COVID-friendly breakfast very filling, precautions taken seriously. Ample parking and easy to find. Appreciated the advice about making our way to the village from the Guest house. 5-10 min walk maximum, the A470 is a bit of a race-track so caution recommended when walking along it in the dark. The use of the sauna was denied to us (thanks COVID!) and we couldn't find time to use the pool. Really enjoyed the stay there.
