  Excellent

  I cant recommend this hotel highly enough. We are a family of 4, with 2 young kids (ages 3 and 1)... and this was the perfect place. Great facilities, amazing childcare, lovely staff and great service. We will be back!!

  10 days with my five year old daughter

  The Parklane is a must go for two reasons beyond the obvious of sun, high quality food and sea - David K, the chief concierge, and the kids club run by Ivana and her team. David really listens to what guests ask for and has ready advice and booking suggestions, while also being super responsive - when i asked for an informal taverna that is principally visited by locals, that is what he found and booked, and the food and atmosphere is so comforting even a fussy five year old tries new foods. And all other restaurants he booked were great and responsive to what i asked for, as well as the two excursions he organized. And the kids club is just the best physical set up, with a dedicated team who have great senses of humor and endless patience.

  Had a great stay at Park lane during the October half term, covid had an effect but Park lane still managed to make this a wonderful holiday for myself and family, special mention has to go to Kratinos the hotels director of sales and marketing who again went above and beyond. Also to David our concierge whom made every experience we had easy and amazing his recommendations in all areas were spot on for us and no job was too small. Thank you both for making this more than a five star experience.

  Great experience

  I didnt think this hotel would suit us, however it has become an absolute favourite. The rooms are great and clean and everything works! The kids club is the first kids club my children agreed to go to in 14 years, absolutely amazing facility. Mary on reception is very helpful, as is the amazing Niccolas at the pool bar who ran it with competence. Hes a great source of local information and original cocktails. The food at the hotel was largely great especially at Daphnes, although to many chips are offered with no alternatives. The food offered at the pool was very poor and better sandwiches could be purchased almost anywhere. I was told it was because of Covid but other hotels in the area had far superior offerings pool side. We will return, as we had a great time.

  Impressive renovation, but service needs improvement!

  The extensive hotel renovation is impressive. The transformation from its past Le Meridien incarnation has given the property a very luxurious feel. Location wise it is perfectly situated on the beach, only a 35 minute drive from Larnaca Airport and 50 minutes from Paphos Airport. Cyprus is a small country and easy to get around. Being in Limassol, the hotel is pretty much equidistant to the vast majority of the island. Reception staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Checking in was quick and easy. Things were a little busier at check out but well managed. My room with a sea view was spacious and superbly equipped. It was in pristine condition and well maintained. I loved the modern technology used to control light switches throughout the room. The large king sized bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a double sink in the centre, with the toilet on one side and a big walk in shower and bathtub on the other. Complimentary Philosykos/Diptyque bathroom amenities were available. The room also had a coffee maker which had a coffee pod left in it when I tried to make tea, which wasted the better part of a tankful of water - also a little concerning from a cleaning point of view. There were only paper cups available which I imagine is a measure taken during the Covid pandemic - having stayed at other properties, including Luxury Collection hotels during the pandemic, many had china and not paper cups. If the paper cups are standard then this takes away from the luxury feel of the hotel. It was hard to establish what was normality and what were the edited measures during the pandemic. For example, there was no turn down service but nobody mentioned at reception that this is the case or that it is available on request. The hotel has a lovely pool area with plenty of sun loungers. The pool bar offers an extensive drinks menu as well as poolside snacks. There was very limited service unless you walked up to the bar. The pool closest to Tides was cordoned off and out of use. On one evening I had dinner at Dafne restaurant which was very enjoyable. Breakfast was served at Lanes and was a buffet affair. Aside from a couple of stations with sanitiser and gloves, there did not seem to be any checks over people serving themselves - it was a free for all and hardly anyone wore gloves or masks despite local regulations. Restaurant staff could have been more proactive - it was not busy while I was there. From the hotel you have easy access to the pedestrian path along the coast that takes you all the way to the Enaerios area of Limassol and beyond with lots of dining and drinking options along the way as well as archaeological sites. All in all, I had a great and relaxing time. The renovation is fantastic. As a big fan of the Luxury Collection, I feel the hotel just needs a tiny more effort on the finer side of services, like being a little bit more proactive. Certainly by Cypriot standards, this is one of the islands best.
