  Amazing Pool. Amazing Value.

  There are two mirror-image swimming pools that are HUGE. This felt like a luxury resort and is a perfect hide-away for anyone that wants to relax in self-contained accommodation. It isn't at the action end of Port Douglas, but a short 5 minute drive gets you there, and I actually liked this location that is in a more suburban relaxed part of Port Douglas within only a couple of minutes access to the Captain Cook Highway to Cairns or the Daintree. The managers were welcoming and ready to help however they could. We stayed seven nights and were surprised to be offered a complimentary room service during the week, which was much appreciated. I think Pool Resort will appeal to both couples and families. And the two bedroom swim-up apartment was magical! Room 45 is a swim-up room in an excellent location, situated near the wider part of one of the pools, close to underground car park access and the rubbish bins, and a short walk to reception. We could not hear any traffic noise at night and I expect this is the case for all of the rooms.

  Fantastic Stay!

  We booked a three bedroom plunge pool room. The apartment was very spacious we high end appliances. My only gripe was with the bathrooms- there is no counter space to put wet bags. The staff were lovely- they organised an early check-in for us. They also organised a reef tour and got a better deal than booking directly with the company. It is located 5 minutes out of town so we used the shuttle service. $25 each person for a three day pass- well worth the money as we did multiple trips. Overall a wonderful stay!

  Great pool, awesome place to stay.

  Stayed here for 9 nights. We were initially in a 2 bedroom pool view and then moved to a swim out room. The swim out was amazing and allowed for easy access to the pool from 7am which made it really easy for my pre-teen girls to come in snd out as they pleased. This allowed us adults to relax. The appartments were immaculately clean with all amenities needed. Donna and Peter were fantastic managers that were so understand accommodating our needs and changes due to boarder closures. The location is about 5 min from Macrossan st. There is a fantasy cafe 1 min walk from the resort. I cant speak more highly of this place and look forward to staying again. Just be aware the wifi has a very poor signal and we were unable to get Vodafone or Telstra 3G or 4G. It was a great way to keep the kids off the devices but very difficult to continue running a business. Had to go into town to get a decent signal.

  One of our favourite hotel

  Strongly recommend a ground floor room with direct pool access if you are going with family! We have two primary school kids and they had a blast! The rooms were very clean, sleek and modern, kitchen was fully equipped so we cooked a few nice meals and brekkies. But the highlight is definitely the big sparkly pool! Kids just go out the balcony and jump into the pool and parents simply supervise them from the kitchen or the balcony. Life is just easy and in heaven there.

  Spectacular Pool

  Pros : Definately the pool and great staff. The units are clean and comfortable we had a swim up with direct access to the pool which was amazing! Cons: No ensuites really struggled with this , lack of cooking items pots etc.
