  Decent, but not special

  Clean and comfortable, and not bad. With the exception of perhaps one, staff were not terribly enthused about being there, and neither were they very interested in trying to work with our mix of limited German and English (don't expect many local in the town to speak English). Super close to the train station, which was helpful, but the frustration is needing to request a room away from the rail line to get any sleep. And not a very interesting location in terms of atmosphere. But close to town and the breakfast was decent. We'll try our luck somewhere else next time.

  Somewhat value for money

  Stayed here on our way through Europe. We arrived late, so the front door to the hotel and the reception was closed. The man who answered the intercom was, at best, vague on how to access the parking and the hotel. I figured it out, found our keys laying on the reception desk and managed to find the right lift to our rooms. The hotel felt dated but that is to be expected this for from a larger city. The train track runs just outside, so passing trains are prone to either wake you up or keep you awake. Breakfast was great and the price was ok for what we got, but I'm not coming back. Way too far from our main route and not offering the standard I'd like.

  This hotel, in the beautiful city of Rotenburg an der Fulda, is the best what I can find. Big rooms, more than perfect restaurant and the best service from the staff bring me back soon to this hotel..

  Nice quiet hotel

  We stayed here on a bicycle trip and enjoyed the hotel. The room was large and clean, with a view towards the river. The breakfast was ample and they had storage for our bicycles. They are a member of Bett and Bike. Would stay here again.

  Holiday in comfort

  With our in-laws, my husband and I stayed at Posthotel Rotenburg a.d. Fulda from the 15th to the 18th August. We were on a tour by coach with Violetta Cars ( Belgium) - a well organised group with a careful driver and a good guide, both of whom also very polite and willing to help. The Hotel boasts of large, comfortable , spotlessly clean rooms with a balcony. Breakfast and dinner were so plentiful and varied that each person could easily find his or her tastes. As usual we were asked to help the environment by asking whether the room needed cleaning or not every single day. The second day we opted for the 'no need to clean' and in the evening we found,,, hanging on the door knob, 2 small boxes of Pralines! The personnel are more than willing to help when necessary and they made our stay a real pleasant one. We would certainly recommend this hotel. '
