Pristine Resort - a nice find

I was looking for a place to stay in the Arrosim area, and was taken to Pristine Resort by Tony who runs Balton's Restaurant nearby. Pristine is a few minutes walk opposite the Park Hyatt gate, down a quiet lane leading to paddy fields. Pristine is a 3-storey complex with a pool, restaurant, rooms and apartments. There were a few long term stayers in the apartments. The rooms overlook the pool. Breakfast is included. Food is reasonably good in terms of variety and taste. The restaurant is open from 7AM till whenever people are there. Extremely friendly staff. I was given an 8PM checkout because my flight was at 10PM. Arrosim beach is about 900 metres away, you need to walk around the Hyatt compound. Nearby restaurants include Balton's on the road and several beach shacks during the season. Overall, a pleasant and quiet place to stay, not too far from the beach, friendly staff, value for money.

The best calm and quite place to spend your holiday in Goa

Place is near to Arrosim beach, We were warmly welcomed by Tony who runs this lovely resort. Staff is also very prompt and helpful. Helped me in wherever required. Rooms are very clean and spacious and well furnished. Pool is also very clean. Our ideal day used to start with good break fast. Food is very nice specially Goan Curry with good quantity fish in curry and bowl of rice. Over all very nice and pleasant stay at PRISITNE RESORT. Will surely consider for next time trip to goa and recommend this place.

    Calm and quiet resort

Booked a room for a night and extended it by three more days. Says it all. The place is quiet and serene and the photos on TA is as it is. Located opposite the Park Hyatt resort and spa, it is an ideal place to get away from the crowd and just while away your time. The wifi connectivity is poor and enables one to relax a wee bit more. The reception area has better connectivity and hence you see people ambling there to catch up on the latest. Very well maintained property with well trimmed shrubs, plants and flora. This property is great value for money. The next door neighbours have a host of animals on their plot and just brought back memories of a typical country side setting. Take your vehicle out and just laze through the roads and your stay in Goa becomes special. We as a family of three stayed on the ground floor bang in front of the restaurant and it was convenient for an older relative and did not need to climb the stairs. The rooms were neat, clean and spacious. Bathroom is compact and does its job. There are two more storeys above the ground floor and probably houses 60-70 rooms. The breakfast was nothing much to write home about as it had bland potatoes and bread for the days we stayed. They do have some choice of eggs which was fine. The a la carte menu did look alright and we did have food on a couple of occasions and would give it 7/10. This is a place frequented by tourists with children and families, from a major european country and the best part was it was not noisy at all. So thank you fellow guests for that. The Housekeeping staff was upto mark and did a great job. Tony the man in charge of the resort has done a wonderful job of running the place seamlessly. He was very helpful and easily approachable. Staff overall were very pleasant and helpful and it made our stay very pleasurable. There is a Liquor shop, restaurant, grocery and salon on the main road and makes things easy for tourists. Just a small note of caution, Carry a stick as you walk down the road as there are a bunch of dogs who could be intimidating. A wonderful stay and thank you Tony.

2 week stay last week in April and the first in May. My brother and myself.

One of the best places I have stayed at. I booked on TripAdvisor 'Arroserene a beautiful getaway' and it certainly was. We were met by Savio having corresponded with Cynthia in the lead up to the booking. He showed us around the apartment, Explained a few things and let us get on with our stay. Plenty of bed linen for 2 weeks providing us with enough for a change of the 2 single beds midway. Fridge was stocked with soft drinks and milk. Tea, coffee and sugar all provided. 2 balconies both overlooked the pool.A/C was well up to the job ((bedroom only (we were there in the hottest part of the year and every day was circa 40C). Every room had either 1 or 2 fans. As regards the resort itself, the gardens abound with both tropical plants and some we have back home (England) and they spill over onto the pathways making it bit of a 'world of its own'. Pool is meticulously cleaned morning and evening (it closes at 6pm for this to take place). The on site restaurant we found was a cut above even the top beach shacks found on TA and we ate there most nights as prices were equivalent. And we were very well served by Rocky and Antonio, great guys, nothing too much trouble. On site massage service if you want to pamper yourself. Exchange rate at the reception was 3 to 5 rupees to the pound less than the ATMs were giving (but no commission charges). Just one small downside. When we had a question of the 2 young guys on reception it was difficult getting past their smartphones to gain their full attention, not good, if that's their attitude they should be found a none customer facing role. In summary, come here (we are on our last 2 days) you won't be disappointed.
