  Scenic and quiet

  Mary and her husband Fred are wonderful hosts. We spent two nights there in early June. We had a warm welcome and very nice rooms. The breakfasts are very accommodating with anything and everything you want. We had a beautiful view over Galway Bay with the Cliffs of Mohr on one side and the Aran Islands on the other. It was amazing to see at night with the lights. Mary gave us great information the day of our trip over to the Aran Islands. The ferry terminal is only a 20 minute drive away or the airport about 10 minutes away. There are two nice pubs to eat at, 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk.

  Close to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway

  Mary and her husband were lovely hosts. They kept the B&B clean, and their garden is beyond lovely. From their dining room, you can see the most breathtaking view of the Cliffs of Moher. Galway city with plenty of dining options is no more than 15 minutes away. The only drawback for us was that the walls were thin and when the doors to the other rooms would close or open, our door would rattle. Past a certain hour of the night, all of that ceased to not matter and we slept well on a comfortable bed. Full Breakfast was served the next morning, and it was delicious!

  First rate B&B

  We stayed several nights. Lovely view from our very comfortable room. excellent breakfasts. Hosts were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Convenient for exploring Galway and points to the north.

  Great stay

  We stayed as a family for one night. It's a bit outside of Spiddal but that's not really an issue. The family room is spacious and includes a queen and 2 single beds. The bathroom is redone and modern. Those who are in need of an in-room TV set will be disappointed but that's not been a problem for us. Breakfast was of good quality (both Irish and continental) and we had a great view across the sea. It's a good starting point if you want to go to the Aran islands or Galway

  Connemara B&B

  Another wonderful Irish B&B in the Gaelic speaking region of the Republic. Very reasonably priced. Great breakfast. The host was very helpful in planning our travels in the Connemara. Beautiful views of the bay. We would stay here again.
