  The Only Hotel I Will Entrust with my Life During Covid

  It is obvious that the staff at this hotel cares not only about their health and safety, but that of the guests. Before returning to this hotel, which is akin to a "home away from home" for us, we called and asked about their Covid protocols. As we expected, they are doing everything they can to avoid putting anyone's health in jeopardy. Unlike the other two hotels we have stayed in since March (very unusual for a Marriott Lifetime Titanium,) the Redmont's staff wears their masks properly and enforces their public area mask policy. (The 2 Marriotts we stayed at led by example, and had staff not even covering their noses with masks---see my Ross Bridge review...) The Redmont asks for distancing. They are constantly sanitizing everything, including the dreaded elevator buttons. We were comforted greatly by this. We knew they would not let us down, now, as they have never done so in the past. Our friends and family have made comments that my family is ultra Covid safe. We have everything delivered to our home and have not entered a store since March. We trust the Redmont. We stay there during a pandemic. That says something about them. It is nice to know that there IS a property that takes this pandemic seriously, cares about its guests, and cares about its staff. The Redmont has restored my faith in hospitality. Again.

  Stopped on Friday night on road trip w/ hubby

  And had read many previous reviews. I agree the staff was super great( especially the front desk clerk at check in)and they were super good on trying to be Covid 19 safe. The breakfast guy did a super job and we really enjoyed a hot breakfast ( since we were gold status and get breakfast free). Now for the not ok. Thought the corner room upgrade was going to be awesome but the room was not up to speed. It was clean but whoever works in the maintenance department and room inspection for this property Needs to do a better job! I have attached pics. Velvet like footstool all stained; paint needs to be touched up with the same color next time( many places); door bracket looked pretty unprofessional; mirror needs to be replaced , entire door probably needs to go, and carpet was fraying in multiple places. The bed was extremely comfortable. If this room was an upgrade- glad I did not see a regular room. A little pride in room conditions is needed! We will not be back! The roof top bar is not run by Hilton? The bartender would not let us charge to our room. It was slightly raining and no room inside so went outside. Kind of depressing in day light with furniture., and stepped in several unseen puddles and got shoes all wet. Maybe some awnings to make better use of outside area when resining? Great views tho!

  Perfect location for downtown, very clean

  Stayed here for proximity to the Federal Courthouse which was a short 3 block walk. I felt safe walking to the courthouse and back. The room was very clean; hotel visitors and staff were strictly following CDC recommendations. The room was a corner room on the 14th floor with a very large shower. Bed was comfortable. Temperature control was easy to operate and accurate. Plenty of helpful staff to assist you with any questions or concerns. Also, the Valet was in service during my stay on March 7, 2021, contrary to what I had read. They were excellent. Since there are numerous one-way streets in downtown, I took advantage of the Valet. There is also a pay-to-stay parking lot directly across the street from the hotel entrance. The room menu is not available or is limited during Covid, but the on-site main floor restaurant had numerous choices that should satisfy. I did not go to the rooftop dining area but it was available as well.

  Great Service, High Hilton Standards at Historic Spot

  Staff couldn't be nicer nor more accommodating. Comfy bedding, nice toiletries as per Hilton standard. Lobby and rooftop bar had perfect number of patrons yet covid-safe (not a mob scene). Conveniently located within walking distance to a variety of 2nd Ave restaurants and just a mile from microbrewery district. Very enjoyable stay.

  Great Staycation!

  We stayed at the Redmont for our anniversary. We wanted to do something to celebrate, but also wanted to be safe and follow all COVID precautions. We decided to book a room for one night at the Redmont, and it was wonderful! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and followed all safety protocols. The hotel was clean and we loved being able to sit outside and have a drink safely on the rooftop bar. We were able to walk and get curbside pickup at restaurants we love but don't get to frequent at all right now. We will do a staycation like this one again!
