  Never, ever again! Be careful of pics

  We drove from the north of the UK with 2 young children, having seen the pictures of this holiday accomodation through French Life. I'll start with the single positive, the 'apartment ' was clean inside. Now the very bad news; it was accessed by a dark, dirty back entry and the door to the apartment was 2 metres away from the refuse collection area. It was mig-August (2009) - you imgaine the smell and flies. With regards to the accomodation, we had paid for a 3 room apartment (the largest available). The first room (with 2 bunks) was actually the moment you open the door, it was the entrance hall!, close the door to the kitchen / living room and that's thats your first room. The second was the closest to a bedroom in so much as it had 2 beds. The window was 18 inches by 18 inches (I measured it) and looked in on a dark and dirty corridor with cast iron bars on the window. There was no storage facilities in this room. There was one lamp and 2 single, very rough beds. The 3rd 'room' was the kitchen / living room ; bedroom/ whatever else. This had the most uncomfortable sofa bed and a pull down bed from the wall - remember this was also the kitchen / living room ! There was absolutely no kitchen worktop at all - self catering? The shower - someone needed to hold it for you as it was not fixed to the wall - basic mixer taps. The patio door opened onto a garden that was shared, strewn with toilet paper, dirty and dogs either side. The garden was 10 meters from a public car park that had teenagers playing loud music until 5am. We stayed just one night, out of what was to be 14 !, In that night the 2 adults were bitten by bed bugs over 10 times. We left after 1night and enjoyed a tour of France in quality hotels (less costly than this one!) This is an absolutely disgraceful complex. I regualrly visit HM Prisons in the UK as a lay visitor and I can assure you that the conditions there are substantially better on all levels. This is the first review I've put on TrIp Advisor as I've relied on it for many trips to date, but this time I've felt compelled to wriite. Please aviod this accomodation at at all costs.

  Worst hotel I've ever stayed in

  No air conditioning, two single bunk beds for my 6'3 frame ? Small etc. It's a 45 min walk from st Tropez so you really need to book a car or bike, it was a really depressing room with no Restaraunt, I had to pay another 10 euro for linen ? I only booked 3 days before going so my options were limited , the only positive was it had a large pool area which would be great if you bring the kids. I've never given bad feed back about anything so this is big for me to want to give my honest feed back.

  podría ser perfecto mejorando algunos detalles

  Excelente ubicación. Piscina muy bien. Jardines descuidados. Falta de limpieza en algunos espacios comunes. Apartamentos muy espacioso, aseo algo antiguo pero en general bien. En la recepción ni pajolera idea de español así que comunicación 0, eso realmente me ha sorprendido en un sitio tan turístico. El entorno es espectacular, mejorando algunos aspectos sería el lugar perfecto.

  UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

  This place has been through the wringer but is now under new management and things have already started to pick up with more promises of good things to come. Maeva have moved out. For me thats a good thing. The whole place has a better feeling. I stayed in an obviously newly renovated apartment with great views. (Search for privately rented apartments) Cant vouch for them all but this one was extremely pleasant, not what you would expect from this type of apartment in France. I'll upload some pics when I can find the memory card!!

  Muy bien, pero podria ser mejor.

  Estuvimos con mi familia ( yo argentina y ellos franceses ), durante una semana. Estuvimos consultando sobre los cambios que hubo en la Admistracion del complejo , fuimos con algo de temor, pero nos encontramos con un departamento hermoso ( propietaria Sra. Babeth Sepanski) y en un entorno muy favorable.Hermosa piscina, jardines cuidados y bastante limpieza en general, aunque los alrededores dejaban mucho que desear. El cesped no estaba cortado, muchos hormigueros, y muchas puertas con codigos de seguridad que estaban siempre abiertas. Otra cosa para criticar es la falta de reposeras en la zona de la pileta. En general, lo recomiendo, pero OJO, asesorarse bien en que estado se encuentra el departamento que vayan a alquilar, porque al parecer, algunos estan muy deteriorados . No fue nuestro caso, felizmente !!!!!
