  Home from home

  What a wonderful place to stay, it was like something from a movie. Highland style, log cabin feel. Located near a good sellection of slops, many inwalking distance. Little bit away from main strip about 35 pln in a taxi but was a nice walk the one evening we did it. Good selection for breakfast, different every day. The owner was very pleasent, not the best english but good enough to help us when needed.

  Wonderful place to stay

  Very nice place to stay and sleep. The beautiful mountains and there air have a calming effect. I slept like a baby there. You can get local information through the housekeeper who is very knowledgeable about the surrounding facilities regarding hiking trails, spa's, restaurants, local music, etc. All the restaurants that where adviced to us where great and where up to our expectations. We had a double room for 2 adults and a 12 year old girl. There was another bed in the girl's room so 2 children is no problem. Reserve this room upfront A very nice central room with fireplace where you can have breakfast (included) and eat and drink everything you purchased and stored in the fridge.

  Please consider this message you book

  Lets me share very challenging experience faced with this apartment; the room reserved was not equipted with shower even different confirmation was provided by booking portal; the owner was really rude and suggest to take shower in sauna zone; additionally they lied about full reservation for that night - we easly checked and identified 2 options of reservation for this place at booking; this caused us extra time and money to return to homeplace;

  Well priced but consider a few things

  The accomm is a lovely home and has kitchen facilities with a few extras (that I assume are complimentary) like spices, some dried pasta. A fridge, microwave, stove. Our room was very top so had a slanted roof making it quite small, but manageable. There is no soap in any of the dispensers in bathroom. First attempt to shower it flooded and we had to remove chunks of hair from the drain filter.. WIFI didn't work during our stay until the morning we left. Main lady doesn't speak any English so called her daughter to speak with me but she basically said "there's nothing I can do". We tried to communicate via translator app in Polish as we understand not all will speak English but this didn't assist. Wifi issue is only a big deal because most travellers (especially international like myself) rely on internet as communication and for booking further travel. I think properties these days should be aware of this. Breakfast was 20PLN pp and had a selection of ham, cheese, scrambled eggs cooked fresh for you, hard boiled eggs, bread, basic cereal, tea, coffee. We had it once but chose not to for other days as I felt it wasn't worth the price. Because of these reasons I'm not sure I would stay here again but it wasn't bad in the same token.

  Cosy and homey

  A great, couple- and family-friendly guest house on the border of Zakopane and Kocielisko, very close to a skiing center. We had two rooms at the very last floor: cat and mouse. They were very tidy and nicely decorated, though the mouse was a little small, and there was no wardrobe. The cat had a big double bed and a very spacious bathroom, great for couples. The owners were very kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was great. There is a common room downstairs with the tv, board games and a fireplace. They serve a little breakfast buffet every day between 8:30-10:30. Quite basic but tasty local food, vegetarian options, every day a bit different which is nice. Good coffee from the machine and a selection of teas available for the guests all the time. There are a few parking spots in front of the house, though maybe not enough if all the guests come with a car. If youre not driving, then its a bit far to the center of Zakopane (about 30 minutes walk). Though, the bus stop is quite close. Overall, a please. experience, would book again for sure.
