  Repetiría sin duda

  La habitación estaba en la parte de atrás mirando al río de manera que no se oía tanto el ruido de la calle. Tenía un pequeño balcón donde poder desayunar o estar relajado. La habitación en sí estaba bien, con ventilador de pie y mosquitera en la ventana. Personal muy amable en todo momento y hacen comida a buen precio.

  Friendly - Helpful - Knowledgeable Of Area

  Spent a great number of days here as value for money, friendly and very central for travel including local bus. Dormitory was comfortable with lockable cupboards and extremely cheap. Moved in here after several nights in balcony room. All things on website are factual.

  What a wonderful holiday!

  I stayed at Guesthouse Riverside for 2 weeks, and I can highly recommend this place for travellers who want value for their money! This place is located near everything, night market, shops, restaurants, bars, beach.... and you can always take a taxi, they are cheap and taxi-station is very close. The best cabaree-show with ladyboys, Moo-Moo Cabaret, just accross the street, went there 3 times, it was so much fun! Free entrance, 1 drink minimum and a 1 hour amazing show every night 21.45. The room was spacious, with a balcony, wiew to the river. Very clean room, a bit weary but clean. Good closet to hang your clothes, good water pressure in the shower. If you are used to luxury, this is not for you, but I travel a lot and do not spend too much time in a room anyway... The best part of this guesthouse is the heart of everything: Apple, the owner! I can highly recommend her cooking classes starting the day from the food market and learning how to cook several Thai-dishes, that was 1500 baht best spent ever! We also learn some carving of the vegetables! Apple is also very friendly, helpful and smiling all the time! Rest of the staff do not speak so good english, but they were sweet and helpful too, doing their best! The reception is not open after 6 PM, so if you arrive later, contact them before, they will wait for you! I really this holiday and hope I could help someone to pick a place to stay in Khao Lak!   Apple!!

  Lovely host Apple was one of the highlights of my trip! Comfortable room, good wifi, hot water with good pressure in the shower. Not the Ritz, but fantastic value for money in a great location close to everything. Breakfast and iced coffee, yum! And if I ever needed help with anything, it was always available. Apple booked a couple of tours for me at great rates and suggested a fantastic driver for a day trip around Phuket. I definitely recommend Riverside Guesthouse to anyone looking for a good value, easy going base to explore Khao Lak with wonderful local insight available. Thanks, Apple!! I'll be back!!

  Excellent value

  In March 2019 I spend about a week in total at Riverside Guesthouse. The heart of all is Apple, the owner. She gives the spirit to this little, simple but incredibly sweet and cozy guesthouse. It's central, it's clean and it's very good value for that price. And as mentionned: Apple is a excellent host, very happy and friendly, helpfull and always there for a chat or a good laugh. If you are not looking for a resort and a place right at the beach - that's the place to go. Ronny, Switzerland
