  Mixed Feelings Here

  I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. The location is good, and it's nice to have a bar and food on site. The rooms, however, are VERY small. There's no place to put anything. There is a 12E charge for breakfast. Service in the bar was slow. The wi-fi is adequate. We found parking on the street for no charge. No elevator. I'd stay somewhere else next time.

  Friendly staff made us feel at home

  We booked two nights here last minute and we were very happy we decided to stay here - perfect location right by the beach, comfortable rooms, and most importantly - amazing hospitality. The front desk was incredibly helpful with every question and making sure we enjoyed all aspects of our trip. Gulia was wonderful to work with!

  Atmosphere and location

  The hotel is right on the beach front, a superb location. Having been there since the 1930's it has much history and atmosphere. The rooms are delightfully differently furnished. There is no lift so you have to be able to climb stairs, although there is one room on the ground floor. They provide parking in the hotel which is great. Breakfast is standard but you can also just have coffee and croissants from the bar.

  Great place

  We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are reasonably priced and the beach is just across the road. The reception and bar staff are really excellent. Theres a great selection of bottled beers, try the Rince Cochon, and the cocktails are superb, try the Singapore Sling . Highly recommended

  Good enough

  It has been a long time since I have been in this hotel. Not much has changed. The style of the hotel is appealing but could also set you back. Rooms are ok but they are looking for a refit for sure. That is not years away. The rooms have a good filled minibar, comfortable bed and decent size shower. I resided at the first floor of building. You enter through the restaurant or via side entry. The restaurant is more a bar with wine and small snacks. In the morning the tiny breakfast is served. Although it is fine and has all I needed it is small. Service is good. I booked through booking. And I had to leave a day earlier. Asking the evening before it was no problem. However on checking out I had to pay for all nights. They said the bar personnel has nothing to say in regards to this. And we should boo directly next time. Bit of a bummer. But we know how Booking works. Anyway we had a good stay, hope they will start renovating next year though. To keep up. Beach front is just ahead and a great place to eat just five minutes walking away. Wi-Fi is ok. But not fantastic. Separate SSID for each floor is not really best practice.
