Great Hotel Close to the Zhongxiao Fuxing StationThis is an older hotel and has gone through some renovation recently. Pro: Location - close to the metro (MRT) station. Many department stores and regular stores & restaurants around. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The twin beds room is spacious and had a tub and shower (separately). Two big size of free bottles of water daily. Tea, water fountain and coffee machines are located in the lobby. Con: the only thing I didnt like is the mattress is too firm.

Great customer service!Booked a room with them just this week. I requested for a room with a view, upon check in we got our keys and went to the room, to my dismay there was no view of the city or anything but a blank wall of the other building. However, the receptionist, gave us a room with an amazing view the next day, they even moved our luggages for us since the next day we had a tour of the city. I was not able to get her name but she knows who she is, im sure and i just want to applaud her also for her efforts not only to give us great accomodation, but also because she helped us out with our Uber driver, she even went outside and talked to the Uber driver for us to make sure that we were driven to the city center in Ximending. Also, we had a chat while waiting for our Uber driver and she was very pleasant to talk to. We just left Taiwan today, i asked the other front desk staff what her name was but they couldnt understand me. I was looking for her to commend her for her extended personalized service. I too work in a hotel and it is in people like this that guests would want to come back to a hotel. Miss, thank you for the excellent service! Will surely recommend this hotel to others. Even the housekeeping on our floor(8th floor) was very pleasant and on the dot! Would see her everyday before we went down for breakfast. Good job! Great location and safe area too!

ConvenientLocated about 5 min walk from zhongxiao Fuxing station. We took shuttle bus from airport (~TWD170) and only took 40min. No traffic. Smooth journey. Easy to locate from google map. Unfortunate there is not much eating places and that whats hotel staff also said. Room size is reasonable, clean and comfortable.

Really old hotel....do not recommend...Pluses: - good location - between Zhongxiao Fuxing and Zhongxiao Donhua; - Good service and very attentive staff. Minuses: - it is really old... adhesive tape on electrical sockets, lamps... door to the toilet - cant close.... hard bed... not comfortable pillows... weird repetitive noise 24/7 - woke me up both mornings at 5 am... - breakfast is just horrible - one of the worst i ever had in Taiwan or elsewhere... i cant understand how having kitchen u can cook so bad..... looks disgusting and tasteless.... - slow wifi; Just dont recommend. Need to close down for renovation.

Handy to everythingI stayed for 8 days at this hotel. As other travellers have said, some rooms have a view of a blank wall. While this isnt pleasant, its not a deal breaker. Its not like you are constantly looking out the window when you are in your room. I found the staff to be lovely - especially Annie on the front desk and Carry, the concierge. Both were extremely helpful, pleasant, efficient and professional. The only staff member I found to be slightly unpleasant was a young man who was on duty when I arrived at 6.00 am on a Sunday. He was unsmiling and decidedly unhelpful. The rooms were clean, but on the small side. I travelled alone so the size of the room and bathroom were fine, but I imagine if there were two in the room it would be too small. There were very few shelves in the room to unpack your clothes either. There is an MRT station within about 400m and its just four stops to Main Station. Plenty of shops and restaurants are nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Its nothing fancy, but I didnt need anything upmarket. I thought it was good value for the price.
