A newly built hotel-opened last November-adjacent to the thermal park.We liked this largely family hotel. Having boisterous grandchildren meant they fitted in perfectly with the Brazilian kids who usually tear about making a din. Just normal there! Although close to a large building development this did not impinge on our enjoyment-just don't take a room overlooking it. The hotel was very clean and well kept, the rooms spacious and air conditioned. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We didn't detect any English voices or anything except Portuguese but some staff had some English-my Wife is Brazilian in any case. We thought the food was very good but designed of course for the local palate. All in all we will be returning in the future.

Good place for families.Good place for families. The rooms are simple, but clean, I was there for 5 days, with my husband and child. Have recreation for children, it is very fun. There you will find three good restaurants, that means, you dont need go out for eat. I'll be back there more times.

Nice hotel, very convenient to the water park, lacking elevatorsWe stayed at this hotel for 4 nights this week, and it was a nice stay. Location: The hotel is adjacent to the water park, so it's very convenient to get there. Room: The room was nice, with space for 3 people and nice A/C Noise level: high, as you can expect for a hotel tailored for families The big issue was lack of enough elevators. We stayed at the 9th floor, and many times there was a long line to get to the elevator. There were only 2 elevators for hundreds of rooms in one tower.

Illusions of grandeur. They call themselves a 5 star resort and spa. So, my review is with that in mind. First the good. The hotel has its own entrance to the waterpark and it's possible to enter and leave as needed with a wristband that you get in the park. The hotel is new having started operations about 4 months ago. The heated pools are very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Check in and check out went very smoothly. The complex is made up of 4 towers that each look like 3 separate towers so the impression is that there are 12 towers surrounding the central pool area. The first two were built about 4 years ago and operate as a separate hotel that they say is 4 stars. This makes for about 1000 rooms. That's a lot of people. The number and size of elevators is insufficient. Always a long wait and then multiple stops without being able to take on more passengers. The elevators are extremely hot and stuffy. They do not have fans so the time you spend in the elevator is torturous. Our reservation was made for two adults and two children of 10 years old. The room has a separate bedroom and a sitting room with a sofa cama. The sofa cama is very small not big enough for the two boys. We asked for another bed which they brought, but without bedding. We had to call again to ask for bedding. The rooms have no luxury about them. They are very simply furnished without any type of decoration. Bathrooms are also very simple without amenities. Towels are average. There is a central vent that allows you to hear in minute detail the people in other bathrooms. This is very uncomfortable. The first time we went to take showers there wasn't any hot water. The rest of the stay there was. The first day, after spending a long day at the waterpark, we came back to our room the same way we left it. In other words, no one made up the room while we were gone from 7:30am to 8:30pm. The next day, at 3pm, we went looking for a maid to ask that our room be made up. An hour later, at the same time we decided to return to the room from staying poolside all day, the maid started to clean the room. I waited in the hall until she was done. The TV reception wasn't good at all. They said that they were having problems with cable. Chalk this up to bad luck. Our rooms looked out over the pools. It's a nice view but the lighting comes through even with the shades drawn. The design of the shades doesn't allow for complete isolation. While the pools are nice, the service is lacking. There is also not sufficient tables, chairs and umbrellas. They play very loud music all the time. It gets annoying, especially if you don't like "sertanejo" music which is a type of country music. This goes on until about 10:30 or 11:00. The rooms aren't isolated from the sound so even when in your room you have to listen to the music. I also don't like that you have to pay extra for use of a pool towel. Our reservation was made with breakfast included. The breakfast buffet was average. You could tell that they were serving the masses. The restaurant was always very full and loud, working at capacity. They serve in an upstairs section which is more civilized. Not what you would expect from a 5 star resort and spa. I can't comment on lunch or dinner but I thought lunch at BR$75 was a bit pricey. As would be expected from a 5 star resort and spa (but not from this class of hotel) prices are extravagant. For example, a 1/2 portion of chicken nuggets is BR$38. Don't let the fool you. This is a 3 star hotel with nice pools.

Very goodIf we two standard beds instead of 1 sofa to sleep in the second room would be much better. Other points are ok. As RCI users we do not have the opportunity to have more economic package to have food. We received the 30% discount, but no package with breakfast / lunch / dinner with attractive value to the package.
