Attentive staff and great customer service. Clean facilities!

The room is well equipped, however the desk and seating is not very comfortable nor ergonomic for extended laptop use. The kitchen facilities and cutlery are plentiful for a single person or couple. Parking became scarce towards later in the evening.

First V8 Supercar / Bathurst Trip

Very Polite and friendly Staff. Rooms are very good, great track views. I came for the V8 Supercars in Feb 2021, great track views. I'd recommend this Location for any V8 fan. Had a great time and expect to return.

    Business travel accomodation

Clean, quiet, good food and great surrounds. Unfortunately the restaurant was booked for a function one day and unavailable. Could't ask for more on a business trip. Take the opportunity to drive around Mt Panorama circuit if you get the chance!

We were pleasantly surprised to.be upgraded upon arrival. The room exceeded all expectations. Great location trackside, fabulous view, very clean plus a spa and kitchenette. Comfy enormous bed. All staff including the restaurant were extremely friendly and accommodating. We can't speak highly enough of our experience.

    Very unprofessional

We booked the deluxe studio with spa for weekend of the 6th and 7th March. Weve stayed in this exact room pre Covid. We werent aware that there were any shared balconies or we wouldnt have booked. Not with kids. When booking any hotel what ever it may be, privacy is pretty big requirement, well for us it is. We were here for a couple of nights for my birthday but most importantly to see family members we havent seen since Covid. It was meant to be a very special occasion. I believe the guests should be aware what they are paying for. Thats quite a sneaky to have you share any of the features of room/balcony and not tell you. We were put on the level with an extremely long shared balcony for the entire width of the building. For couples or groups of adults maybe no big deal. For family with 2yr and 4yr... A nightmare!! Rather than having your own personal space a child could run down the full length of the building. Of course we are out there supervising but its more difficult than it should be and not relaxing. The room was booked a year in advance. I made 3 phone calls prior to our stay confirming various things as we havent been since Covid and advising them I have young kids and we will need portacot etc and the issue about shared balcony never came up at any point in time. When we got there I began to change my youngest child in the room and theres a man on my balcony in full view. A bit of a shock. We go out on balcony theres ashtray on one side and alcohol scattered on the other neighbouring balcony that my kids can now access (those cans a dozen or more stayed there for the entire time we were there and ended up blowing onto our balcony and we had to move them before our kids picked it up). We immediately raised these safety concerns and could we please move rooms but there was no urgency or understanding thats a real hazard. They werent willing to help us move rooms rather a staff member Gordon threatened to kick us out? We paid for the room, its not what we expected the resolution is to remove us from hotel or leave us all high and dry with young kids. How poorly was that managed. Unprofessional to say the least. We are entitled to be dissatisfied and rightly so. There are safety concerns after all. We hadnt sworn or been disrespectful. We didnt know we were having to pay for a shared space that could endanger our children. Im within my right to request a new room with out the ridiculous threat to move us on, we cant up and go with 2 and 4yr, so they take advantage of that. Because yeh thats exactly what a paying guest wants no privacy? Last time I checked it wasnt a motel, back packer or hostel. Most of the stay we just kept the curtain drawn instead of enjoying the view so we dont have people walk past and look in. Who on earth designed it to be like that?? The balconies need atleast glass dividers on the end to completely block it off so other guests cant come past your room and you can safety contain young children (especially from other guests alcohol and cigarettes). After a lot of to and from and a lot of unpleasantness they offered $100 off our stay. We didnt ask for this. No I dont find that satisfactory because at this point theyd already threatened to kick us out we felt extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable, our stay had been tainted it was very much ruined. We didnt approach them saying refund us we were simply after the same room with a closed balcony, so we can enjoy it with our family as we intended without the hazards. There were other vacant rooms with private balconies available. It wasnt that busy we barely saw any more than 2 rooms higher up being used. We were initially only given 1 key so we had to ask for another for a family booking? So no real thought about that at check in. Theres no one to help with bags especially when you have little kids. Theres no restaurant open for lunch only dinner. We went to dinner at the chicane bar and grill for my birthday dinner, trying our best to make most of it. The male staff member with shoulder length hair was extremely rude. You can read separate review for that. Obviously we were being targeted for speaking out about our room. The meals itself (breakfast and dinner) were actually very nice but not the mojito cocktail tasted awful. They appear to accommodate for just adults alone or certain favoured groups. If I were allocating rooms I would use commonsense and place young families on their own balcony due to safety. They obviously prioritise who they want to look after. A let down. If you are a young family especially, I wouldnt recommend. Theres a good possibility if you book this hotel you will be sharing a balcony with others and their garbage. Thats been our experience.
