    Incredibly pleasant stay

We stumbled upon this hotel when searching for a weekend getaway. At the beginning it was hard for us to make a decision as we had 3 top hotels in mind, including the Schgaguler. We were drawn to this hotel because of the spa and the amazing option to include dinner and/or breakfast. When we first arrived we were greeted with open arms and two welcome drinks, as well as aperitifs. The reception and hotel were impecable and had an amazing design. Our room was beyond stunning, with an incredible view and a spacious balcony! The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower gels were incredible as well. The spa and indoor pool are of high grade and the restaurant itself elevated our experience with their hospitality and outstanding and delicious food (definitely a highlight during our stay)! There is a lady with short hair who speaks both English and German who was always smiling and happy to assist you with anything needed. The hotel staff allowed us to stay extra hours after check out, for us to be able to enjoy the spa a few more hours! We are extremely happy we found this hotel and will definitely be back - hopefully next year! :)

    The best of the Dolomites!

Even before seeing the Schgaguler Hotel in person one can tell that an excellent experience awaits, but spending Christmas week in this fantastic, exceptionally cured hotel definitely exceeds anybody's expectations. The Schgaguler hotel has very recently been entirely renovated and is a truly luxurious resort, representative of the very best hospitality quality the Dolomites offer. The hotel is run by the lovely and very kind Schgaguler family, who oversee a team of staff that are very available, friendly, generous and that always greet their guests with a smile on their lips. We were welcomed by Peter and Tobias Schgaguler, both warm and remarkable hosts, who brought our luggage to our rooms and received us with a welcoming drink in the beautiful bar area. We were all greatly impressed by the rooms and how very spacious and serenity inspiring they were, all furnished in a modern, but pleasant and homely manner. Every room is equipped of its own large bathtub - perfect for relaxation after a day of skiing - and design furniture crafted by the finest Italian artisans. Moreover, the dishes prepared by the kitchen's Neapolitan cook are truly noteworthy and simply delicious! Sandra Schgaguler, the hotel's sommelier and maître de salle, is always very kind and present, catering for her clients' wishes with unparalleled care. Not to speak of the hotel's fabulous spa, which consists of two large indoor swimming pools and a soothing, breathtaking outside jacuzzi. All the massages and treatments offered by the hotel take place in a very silent, relaxing environment and are executed with exceptional care and professionalism by the spa team. Furthermore, the hotel is well connected to the ski slopes, situated at less than a hundred meters from the bus stop where a bus transports its passengers directly to the ski resort every ten minutes. We enjoyed our stay at the Schgaguler hotel so much that we were sad when it was time to go back home! We would definitely recommend the Schgaguler hotel to any mountain lover, any skiing or snowboarding enthusiast, or to anyone that is looking to enjoy a very unwinding, luxuriating experience!

    Top Choice for South Tyrol!

We had a fabulous 5 night stay at the Schgaguler with our 19 month old daughter. The staff were without fail friendly and helpful - even answering my lengthy queries before visiting about ski / buggy hire and local winter walks. Our room was immaculate, our only comment was it was very warm for us, so we slept with the balcony door open most nights. The food was fantastic and better than weve had locally before, good choice including vegetarian options and we loved the salad bar at dinner as well as the excellent local wines. Pastries at breakfast were also superb, along with the wider selection. Our daughter loved the pool and playroom! The professional and friendly hospitality and beautiful minimalist design made for a very relaxing stay. We look forward to returning again soon!

What a fantastic stay! Much recommended

We stayed here for 12 days with our 3 months baby on a half board bases. It has been an amazing stay from start to finish and the staff is within the best I have encountered in my many years of travel around the world. The hotel premises are brand new, with a mountain chic feel and carefully designed bedrooms. We had the suite at the top floor: it is very large and comfortable, with a breathtaking view all over the valley, a walk in wardrobe and a freestanding bathtub. I much recommend this room! The breakfast was a la carte and unlike other hotels, there was no extra charge for cappuccino or freshly squeezed orange juice: everything was included and it tasted amazing. Dinner was a 5 course excellent and refined meal, with some of the best dishes I ever tasted. The staff at the restaurant is truly outstanding: headed by Sandra they will make every meal so enjoyable and with a true 5 star service experience. The spa is good with 2 different pools and an adult only area with a steam room and saunas. The massages were very good and were very good value. The only downside for us was that you will have to lift the stroller through some steps to access the terrace area with the jacuzzi and that sometime has put us off from going. The hotel is right in the middle of the village and perfect for many walks around the little town. At the reception they are very knowledgeable about great excursions with strollers around the area so we made the most of our trip following their advice. We cant wait to be back. Thank you!
