  Nicest RCI Exchange We've Had!

  We have already been to two RCi exchange resorts on the Oregon Coast, as well as adult children going to a 3rd resort. We hoped to try a different one, but had a few places ruled out. It was getting close to a uses-or-lose deadline, so I agreed to Schooner's Landing even though some of the reviews were less than favorable. Well, the negative reviews were wrong! This is a really great resort! Very spacious condos! We had one BD with a comfy king-size bed. The bathroom had a big spa tub which doubled as a shower and a large double-sink vanity. Living was good size, dining room was very cute, Kitchen was small for 2 people to work in, but well-stocked, lots of cooking equipment and a large number of dishes, glasses,etc. A queen size air mattress of highest quality is provided, along with bedding and pillows. Our friend who drove from a different location was very comfy sleeping on it. Bedding & towels were nice quality. Everything was very clean. We weren't greeted enthusiastically, but the staff more than made up for it in service. We got instant help when the dishwasher didn't discharge detergent well, a wall clock was not running well. Grounds were immaculate and we saw lots of lawn work. Resort is on the ocean, but it's a long ways walk down to the beach. Ocean sounds are very audible, but waves aren't visible from most units. Much of the woodwork on the outside of the building is deteriorating but that is to be expected in this humid environment. About half the units are on the 2nd floor, so call ahead if you are stair-challenged. The indoor pool is not very large but is adequate for kids' fun. There is also a playground with a couple of real motor-boats imbedded in the sand for safe play.

  excellent resort and people

  well maintained interiors..............great employees at every position...... short walk to beech/plenty of sites to see withing 5 miles either direction..... beautiful grounds, well maintained. Only negative, we had worst location for our condo against (within 50 ft of noisy hwy 101) traffic noise terrible 4 5 am ...........but resort is excellent and made up for our poor luck of having this one condo number 205 right against hwy.

  Beautiful Resort

  Schooner Landing is a beautiful place to stay with a friendly, hard working staff and lots of fun activities, as well as a play area for kids and a fire pit with wood and log benches. The walk down to the water and a mostly private beach is a gentle slope and takes about five minutes. Highly recommend!

  Nice quiet resort with great beach access and views.

  Loved how quiet this resort was. Walls are rather thin as we could hear every time the people BELOW us cam home. Cabinets banging shut resonates through the walls. Other than that, this was a great place and friendly staff.

  Great location - "tired" old resort doing its best to stay relevant

  Great location but obviously an older resort needing more love and attention. On a beautiful summer day )somewhat rare on the Oregon coast) there was not a single lounge chair to sit and enjoy the sun/view/ocean/sunset. The town is nice and the personnel were wonderful
