  Brunch on Sunday-

  My wife and I did the brunch at the Sea Palms this past Sunday. They are close to getting is correct but overlooked some of the details. The warm food in trays was very good and tasty and the dessert tree was great. The fried chicken was also very good. The details they need to correct are: no fresh fruit, there was no butter, and the baked goods were store bought and the kind served at a motel breakfast. The charge for the brunch was $20 each-which was OK but then they charged $3 each for coffee that was cold. What could have been a wonderful brunch was just OK.

  Post Covid Trip July 2020

  This hotel is a bit hard to review. No recent reviews for us to rely on, since Covid started and slowed things down. But looked decent enough from what I could find. Had all the things we were looking for, in a kid free couples getaway. Or so I thought. Having an on-site pool, restaurant and bar were important to us, wanting to keep social distancing in mind. Only after checking in were we told the restaurant and bar was closed. The restaurant was still serving food, but a limited menu and on the patio only. Also limited hours so no breakfast options. The first day we arrived it was pouring so sitting on the patio was not an option. So first night there, and we already had to venture off the property. We were also told at check in that maid service was cancelled but we could call the front desk when we needed anything and it would be delivered. The staff was always very polite and helpful. And this is a total first world complaint, but a huge plus of a kid free getaway is not having to make my own bed or worry about my wet towel drying. But ok we would make it work. New world post Covid, we can deal. The renovated rooms are great. Clean and modern and the fruit platter waiting in our room was appreciated. Clean but not without its bug issues. We never killed less than 10 flying ants each night we stayed. Luckily bugs dont freak either of us out. The white noise machine built into the headboard is genius. The gym was fantastic. Im a heavy lifter and was able to make what they had work. The pool area was nice and kept clean. The no cooler rule was annoying but we found a way around it. They definitely need more umbrellas. Kind of annoying that on the day we chose to pay the ridiculously high amount for a cabana rental, other people who clearly didnt pay were taking advantage of the empty cabanas. Overall the stay was just ok.

  Relaxing weekend

  Started off by making a reservation with a wonderful young man by the name of Nathan. He could not have been more helpful and he was so patient with me. We arrived at a beautiful resort and we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. Large and spacious rooms all with a wonderful view. The staff was so nice. We spent most of the time by the pool. We had lunch out by the pool and the food was delicious. It was so good we went back the next day and ordered exactly the same food as we had the day before. This place is so nice, clean and the staff exceptional. We will be back!

  Great weekend getaway!

  My husband & I stayed here for my birthday/our anniversary. The rooms were great and the service was excellent! We highly recommend coming here for a weekend getaway or family trip! We will surely be back soon! :)

  Fantastic experience

  The newly renovated Sea Palms is absolutely wonderful. The golf course is Im great shape. Service, food and amenities at the resort are all a 10. Great for couples or families alike. We have found our new getaway and will definitely be back!
