  Deficiente comida !!!!

  El hotel en general no esta mal, cumplio con mis expectativas, enfrente de una bonita playa con tumbonas para los clientes. Buen personal, en especial Xenia que fue encantadora con nosotros. Habitacion bastante grande con 2 camas, aseo correcto y buena limpieza. Lo que no nos gusto fue las comidas y desayuno. Bastante flojo de calidad y variedad. La ubicacion tampoco es muy buena puesto que no hay nada cerca para salir a pasear, se necesita coche para todo. Ibamos con Todo Incluido y creo que no merecio la pena.

  Spacious

  We stopped here for a while and had a nice welcome by the staff. Everywhere was clean. There is a shop to buy postcards stamps and gifts. The infinity pool was amazing . Set right on a lovely beach. Just perfect x

  Amazing Stay

  A very nice location very close to the city ,beach front, nice pool next to the beach ,many facilities ,comfy and minimal decorated.Food in the restaurant was tasty and with great variety ...and much more exclusive of what you expect usually from all inclusive options.The best was the staff so friendly makes you feel like home.We will definitely go again.

  Relaxing Stay

  I would recommend this hotel to any couples who want to have a very relaxing Stay. The hotel is very clean with very friendly staff from the management to the cleaners. You get great ala carta food in the restaurant..the views are great from your room. This hotel is close to the airport with the city centre not far away. I must admit that the entertainment team were great getting everybodh involved in the activities. I would gladly come back to this hotel again.

  Good for rest & relaxation

  We spent 4 nights at the AKS Minoa Palace on the first leg of our journey. We arrived late into Crete and found the expensive taxi ride from the airport to the hotel to cost 20 EUR for about a 15 minute ride. We checked-in around 10:30pm and our room was ready. Our room was a double with an obstructed sea view. It was plain, had a very small bathroom but enough size for two, a decent bed (comfort and size) and a good-size balcony and closet. It also had a small dorm-style fridge, and the hotel left two plates of food and 2 pieces of fruit for us in the fridge as a welcome. The biggest downside of the room was the air conditioning, which flat out did not work. After a rough first two nights of trying to cool the room down, we asked at the front desk who told us the maintenance staff would not be at the hotel for a few more days. So, we left the balcony door open with the drapes shut, and fortunately we were in a part of the season where the bugs are not bad and the night temperature was cool. In August, non-working AC would have been a huge problem. The hotel is modern, spacious and sparsely decorated. It has a beautiful view as it sits right on the beach with a gorgeous pool area and direct sea views that look unobstructed toward the island of iOS. The pool/lounge area also offer ample seating around the infinity edge pool, a pool-side bar and restaurant where they serve lunch, a beach volleyball net and a table tennis game, and of course, a selection of chairs on the beach. Our weather was spectacular - low/mid 70s with light humidity and gorgeous blue skies. A few other tips/observations: This is an all-inclusive hotel which serves three buffet meals per day plus some light snacks/drinks throughout the day. The food was good. Breakfast was a very large selection of hot and cold entrees, as well as the typical salads, cheeses, breads & fruits. They offered some things from English breakfast, Greek breakfast and some other regional options. Lunch was a more simple affair with salads, a few potato sides and some various grilled meats, and dinner was, again, a large buffet that included everything from pizza to various meat selections to pastas to more traditional Greek fare. The dinner buffet also included an interesting assortment of desserts with small portions so you could try a few things without feeling over-stuffed. Breakfast and dinner were served in the main dining hall which has an abundance of light and looks out on to the pool and beach area. Lunch was served at the pool bar area. The hotel is very close to the airport and is in the flight path of the Heraklion airport. If at the beach or pool, the planes fly low overhead just over the sea for landing. However, we did not find it bothersome. For my fitness friends, the gym at this hotel is pathetic. It is the size of a small hotel room, has just a few machines that have to be 20 years old and are not in great operating condition, and is simply unacceptable for a hotel that is all inclusive AND is not near anything in walking distance to compensate. If you are interested in going to Heraklion, we found a bus stop not 5 minutes by walking from the hotel up the small hill, and for 1.70 EUR per person, the bus ride took you into a central point of the town in about 20 minutes. You can get the bus schedule and buy the bus tickets right from the hotel front desk, and in town, there is a small concessions hut across from the main park in the city center (near the Capsis Astoria Hotel) that sells tickets. If youre looking for relaxation on Crete with a great view, a decent set of amenities and a good value for the price paid per night, this is a good hotel for you. But be mindful the fitness options are poor and that the location is somewhat removed from local towns and restaurants so if you plan to be out of the hotel for much time, you might want to look elsewhere unless you have a car or plan to ride the bus often.
