  A place for 5 people in one room! Comfortable and quiet. Got a great nights sleep!

  Just what we needed. Comfy beds, and quiet rooms (yes even though it was near a road). We all slept well. We had three teenagers travelling with us and all fitted in to the room no problem. Manager was patient with me (I thought I had already paid for the room, but I had not). The place has a great feel.

  Still Giving Good Service Under New Management

  This motel has always been one of our favourites and still provides a reasonable tariff and a fairly high standard. The new owner had a hard act to follow, but he is trying very hard to be pleasant and helpful at all times and everything that is required is seen to in a very short space of time. With the addition of a cat, this motel is even more of a home away from home for us, as we always miss our moggies !

  Not sure what happened here

  Reading the reviews of the motel and ftom previous experience this motel was pretty good but things have gone downhill drastically. I stay with a group of work colleagues. People were put in shared rooms when individual rooms were booked. Without any evidence I think that people were put in shared rooms yo maximise occupancy. My room had broken glass on the bathroom floor. Colleagues were given rooms that hadnt even been cleaned... the bedsheets hadn't even changed. My advice... stay somewhere else.

  Good for a short stay, good location, great price

  On arrival there was a bit of a wait before someone answered the bell at reception. The room was small, but functional. The kitchenette was good for the one night. The TV placed on a glass table to the left of the kitchen and right where you can bump into it if you get up in the night is not good. Loved the fabric covered furniture (as opposed to cold, slippery vinyl/leather). The couch and 2 large chairs was a real bonus - usually for 2 people there is one chair and the other person has to sit on the bed. Loved the spa bath (although only used as a large bath for 2) and it was nice to have good toiletries on hand in refillable bottles (good eco). Definitely a plus to have 5 towels between 2 people, even if not used, they are on hand if needed. The bed was super comfy, as were the pillows - slept like a log all night. Overall a good place for a short stay - thank you!

  Great nights sleep

  Lovely hosts offering a warm atmosphere with comfortable beds in a great central location, tidy and well room and grounds with amenities close by. This was our second stay and is likely to become our go to place to stay. Highly recommended
