  Great place, we'll be back!

  We stayed here as a part of our timeshare exchange with Interval so to be fair, our whole week in a one bedroom apartment with kitchen was only $200. Regardless, the resort was wonderful, even if we had paid more. The fireplaces were cozy and created that classic mountain ski town vibe. The pool was fairly warm and hot tub was great. Room was clean and parking was indoor and heated. The free ski shuttle across the street was an added perk! I highly recommend buying groceries and cooking and staying cozy after skiing all day.

  Great and very Comfortable property.

  We have stayed at the Lakeside Terrace for the last 2 years. Units are very comfortable with all the amenities needed. Rooms and bathrooms are big, beds are very comfortable, kitchen has all the required equipment, Living room, TV service, internet are great. Hot tubs in both bathrooms are a plus. Excellent place to stay with Sheraton service.

  Great Accommodation and Staff

  Was very impressed by the room and all the precautions taken. Rather than just leaving the room empty of all ammenities as most hotels are doing this day, our room was supplied with an abundance of ammenities, all in bags tagged as "Clean". Since they don't have service coming in every day, they left extra coffee and kitchen supplies, toiletries, etc. Plus their coffee is Starbucks Pike Place, so on the better side of what you usually get in hotels. I was relieved to see the second bathroom because the room descriptions on the Marriott site (where I booked) only gave detail about the master bath. So, for anyone interested in the 2 bedroom units, there are two bathrooms. The master suite is enormous and luxurious. The other bedroom and bath are quite small. We made use of the pullout in the Den area as well. They do state in their pre-arrival information that there is no air conditioning, in lieu of the "mountain breezes". The mountain breezes are not enough, I will say. The structure doesn't allow air flow through. Luckily there were no bugs, so I could keep the door of the master bedroom open and they do give a couple fans. Just doesn't help the middle of the unit (kitchen and den). And, yes, as another person has noted, the units do overlook a playground. I am sure this is a great benefit for families with small children, but it was pretty much active and noisy non-stop from 8:00 a.m. to sundown. It was a little bothersome since we had to keep the windows open and I was working part of the time while we were there (internet worked great by the way). After sundown, the teens come out but they didn't seem to be as noisy. I will say that it felt like we were in a residential area. I think the majority of the people hanging and playing around the lake were not tourists. Didn't bother us since we prefer more residential lodgings that resorts, but it is just something to be aware of if you want to feel like you are more on vacation. City Market grocery very nearby - you can walk. Finally, the staff were great. I requested a late checkout, which was graciously granted. And then missed that late checkout because we started a hike later than planned. When I called to get just a wee bit more time, they were again gracious. If I a back in the area, I would definitely stay again.

  Better than Ever!

  Super spacious two bedroom suites at super affordable prices near Beaver creek. Super well appointed with all necessary amenities. Beautiful views of park and mountains and steps from skier shuttles. Only drawback is most guest are not following COVID mask requirements.

  We have been coming here for years but...

  Although we are owners here. And truly we love this place. Love Avon, love beaver creek...the condo is great, a few tiny issues, however, the city has built a new playground right next to the property in Nottingham park in the north east corner of the park, very hard to get any rest as we used to. The kids are loud and there is a swing that just rattled on and on all night. Sounds like people are under your window until late in the evening. Best ask for a low number unit on a higher floor or forgo any peace and quiet. Avon and the property are great for families with kids. If you get a higher number unit, it looks over the playground perfect for you to watch over the little ones (3204). Tbh its been a great purchase and weve always enjoyed it! Looking forward to coming back. Just would like a high floor in like 3401.....away from the playground on the other side. The unit sleeps 8-9. So lots of room!!! Some complain about no AC but honestly, there are fans and even in mid summer nighttime temps dip and with windows and doors open it cools off rather nicely! Grateful for this place! Its a hidden gem especially if you love to hike, bike, ski, walk, or just hang out...oh fishing, paddle boarding, and beaver creek and vail both have summer biking!
