  New Contemporary Hotel

  Hotel and rooms have a contemporary style which fits in well with its surroundings. Rooms are on the small size but comfortable. We had a small balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. Note for anyone desiring coffee: there is a coffee maker in the room but the carafes have been removed during COVID and no coffee or tea or cups are available in the room. We complained and told that coffee and hot water is only available at the front desk. A big downside as if you want coffee in the morning you have to get dressed to go and get it. Bed was very comfortable and we heard no noise. Hotel corridors are very long and the ice machine on the 3rd floor is at the far end next to room 350. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. At the present time serving both indoors and outdoors with proper social distancing between tables. No reservations taken but if you are staying in the hotel they will take your cell phone # and text you when a table is ready. Our wait at 6 p.m., on a Saturday night was 50 minutes.

  Not following COVID protocols

  Despite signs everywhere requiring masks the staff is completely fine serving many maskless customers in the common areas, lobby, restaurant, and halls. Disappointed to be an active bonvoy member! If it weren't for the disregard of basic public health it would be a nice property.

  Fantastic and Dog Friendly

  Wow, firstly the people were so nice here. Its got a fantastic restaurant attached with outdoor dining for COVID. The restaurant even has a dog menu! The hotel has a play / bathroom area for dogs! It was super dog friendly just a $75 fee. The property is right next to sundial bridge. If youre going to Redding and have dogs, amazing place!!!

  Fantastic Hotel and Dog/PetFriendly!!

  Stayed here recently during the Holidays for one night and was impressed from check in to check out. First the location. Next to a pedestrian Sundial Bridge and a family park ( didnt see exactly what ) but great location for walking and running etc. Second this hotel is extremely pet friendly. Lots of fellow dog owners here. They dont charge extra for their stay. Plenty of space for them to walk outside Hotel room, grounds were clean. Friendly staff. Room we stayed in opened to the park which was great for our dog. We had a double queen bed with coffee maker and small refrigerator. Would absolutely stay in again and as I write this I should have ( please read my review on Hyatt Regency Sacramento!

  Right next to Sundial Bridge and nearby parks and trails.

  Stayed here for a weekend. I appreciated the hotel staffs for practicing covid safety protocols and enforcing them to the guests. As I was checking in, another group also came in without masks, and the hotel staff politely asked them to mask-up and provided masks to those who didn't have mask (-I still don't know why some would travel around California without bringing a mask; there were notices about this when making reservation and signs posted at hotel doors). The staff also sent texts to check if everything's okay or if we needed anything. Parking was outdoor/self-park. Our room was smallish but clean, comfortable and everything was in good working condition. The room has multiple power outlets with USBs --- a nice feature to charge our multiple electronic devices. This hotel got the best location to visit the Sundial Bridge, hike or bike the Sacramento River Trail, and check out the Turtle Bay Park. It also has a great restaurant (Mosaic) with outdoor dining where we end up dining multiple times. I don't mind staying here again next time I'm in Redding.
