  Stay away, this place is dodgy!

  This place was truly one of the worst places I've ever stayed, in fact I'm not even sure that this qualifies as a hotel. The location is out of the way of most sights in centre city and its quite difficult to get to the centre by anything other than a taxi. A more disturbing fact however is the behaviour of the staff. We had arranged a taxi with the front desk to go to Stolby National Park. When the "taxi" arrived an hour late it was a mercedes with blacked out windows. The "driver" proceeded to quote a price twice what was quoted by the front desk. We later saw the front desk staff return some money to the driver before he would leave (clearly a backhand that he received for calling the "taxi" in the first place). To add to our discomfort we quickly realised that we were one of handful of people actually staying in the hotel. The staff to guest ratio was probably 10 to 1 however none of the staff appeared to be doing anything related to the business of running a hotel. We got out of there as soon as we could! One last point to make, I speak fluent Russian so the behaviour wasn't just targeted at foreigners as speculated by another Tripadvisor review I saw about this place.

  You'll like it for sure!

  Due to business relations with Russian part, I visit this country 4-5 times a year and Krasnoyarsk 1-2 times, particularly. Before I used to stay in downtown hotels, but then I heard about the Siberian Safari Club Hotel from my colleage who liked much the picturesque location and cosy atmosphere of the Safari Club. SO I was nicely surprised by the pleasant time I spent there! No matter it's relatively far from downtown,it was a real pleasure to go back from business routine to the river bank, I even cought some time and tried a pool in the hotel! Clean and cute room, free Wi-fi for a business lady and delicious breakfast from a smiling waitstaff made my day in Krasnoyarsk. Special thanks to the friendly reception personnel and looking forward to visit Safari Club Hotel later this year! Yours, Clarice C., Italy

  Taxi driver that took my partners and me from the airport was giggling about our hotel choice... saying this was well known place to bring the chicks to... Well it appeared to be the truth right on the first night, as I was completely unable to sleep because of the people having a "party" behind the wall. Same was the next night;( The first day there were noisy construction works at the hotel restaurant with no chance to rest. In the morning when we were supposed to check out, the were no water... So no shower... At the check out I was offered to round the bill to higher price - to hundreds of Roubles "to show nicer amount in the bill" Try to avoid this silly people and the place!!!

  neglected building, decent rooms

  It is indeed a picturesque location, on the banks of the Yenisei, but not very convenient to get to the city center. However, the staff ordered us a city taxi without any issue, and the taxi turned out to be perfectly honest and nice! It is also well situated to get to the Stolby park. The main problem is the neglected (awful actually) aspect of the building, with many broken parts, that make it look like a haunted and almost deserted place... It makes the place very depressing when the weather is bad. The room have nothing special but they are functional.
