  Excelente !

  El lugar esta nuevo. El check in lo haces en 5 minutos, la recepcion es muy simpatica y expeditiva como todos los que trabajan en el hotel. Las habitacion modernas, muy bien equipadas, y cuidadas. Se nota que esta nuevo, cuidado y bien mantenido. tiene estacionamiento gratis, y esta en una zona donde tenes enfrente para comer, comprar comida, targets, y otros locales, Parece una zona nueva, hecha todo a nuevo. VAle la pena el precio es muy bueno, y el desayuno esta bueno.

  Excelente, bello, cómo y lujoso

  Nos quedamos una noche en este hotel, y la verdad nos Ubiera gustado quedarnos más, pues es muy acogedor, cómodo, muy limpio, el servicio es bueno, aunque en guest service pudiera ser mejor. Aún así la experiencia fue excelente. Lo recomiendo 100%

  Staff were pleasant

  We stayed here in the midst of CVD-19. We chose the facility because it was presented as new. While the facility did look pretty new, the mattress certainly did not. There was definitely a sag to it. This is a facility that has what are essentially window air conditioners. This room had a shelf made of a set of bars above the AC unit. We found that if we placed pillows on top of this shelf and kept the AC unit on low, that it was quiet enough to not be bothersome.

  Near many state parks

  We have been to Monterey many times and decided to stay here because with the current Covid situation we did not have plans to go into Monterey. We visited several of the local state parks and beaches and this is a great place to stay to explore the area between Monterey and Santa Cruz. When we arrived at the property at 5:15 PM our room was still not ready which was surprising since we are Marriott Bonvoy Titanium members and I was told that it was still being cleaned and the floor was being washed however when I went up to an alternative room there was only one room being cleaned and there was no carpet cleaning equipment out. The room that we had was nice and clean and you can see the ocean off in the distance. The walls do appear to be a little bit thin because we both heard neighbors one night and smelled popcorn and food through the walls. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. We took our own food and had breakfast and dinner in the room and took lunch with us well while we were out exploring during the day. At night we watched Netflix while sitting on the sofa which was not particularly comfortable. There were many parts of the hotel that we did not use or were not open because of the Covid situation: an indoor swimming pool, gym, and a nice large breakfast area with sitting area. Theres also a decent size deck on the roof however it looks like they put away all the furniture if there was any because the only thing up there was one small bench. This would be a great place to eat dinner that you have prepared in your room while youre watching the sunset during the summer time. There is also a nice area outside with fire pits on the 1st floor which overlooks the ocean in the distance. This will be an even better place to stay post Covid where are you were able to use more of the amenities. We booked a future stay but with the deteriorating circumstances and another lock down we ended up canceling. We most likely will go back sometime next summer to explore more of the state parks in the area. Directly across the street are several big box stores: Best Buy, Kohls, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Target plus many smaller places including a Starbucks.

  Not a great visit

  The hotel is clean and nice, although the second level hall (our level had a very strong smell). We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, pool and fitness center are completely closed (by the city)...huge disappointment for my daughters and the worst part of the visit was that they run out of breakfast (45min earlier) and they didn't have anymore (not even cereal or yogurt), that's horrible when you select a hotel that includes breakfast. Overall it was a terrible visit...the nice thing was the lady that helps us check in at the front desk, she was truly exceptional and friendly (check in on 1/17 morning).
