  El lugar es divino la atención es pobre

  La habitación y los servicios de la misma son excelentes pero llegamos el 14/7 por la noche y nunca nos informaron que el desayuno se servía hasta las 9.30 y cuando lo pedimos a las 9.25 nos informaron que la cocina estaba cerrada !!! La única explicación ante nuestra queja fue que la gente desayunaba temprano para retirarse lo ante posible No hay cerca otros lucrarles Iara cenar, almorzar o desayunar con lo cual considero que el servicio debería ser mejor o directamente no ofrecerlo

  Birthday break

  My daughter booked an overnight stay at Stanton Manor for me as a birthday treat. Stanton Manor is in a beautiful location with lovely grounds and ample parking. The staff were really lovely and very attentive. Our evening meal was superb and it was a lovely touch that I was given a small piece of cake with a candle along with my panacotta dessert. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is down to the room. We were staying in what is described as a deluxe room which is supposed to be a top room. Unfortunately the room was disappointing, tired decor, marks on the wall, stain on the bathroom floor due to leaky sink and a really high bed that was not at all comfortable. We were really looking forward to the homemade flapjack in our room but there wasn't any, neither were there any biscuits which is a fairly standard expectation. I also personally really dislike PG tips and would have preferred English breakfast tea and a selection of fruit teas. Overall the positives definitely outweigh the negative, but there's definitely some room for improvement.

  This Hotel Just gets better!

  We are looking to move into the area and have used this Hotel before, as they are so accommodating with our two dogs? We had a massive room with a settee and double bed with access straight onto the garden, where they have a special dog paddock behind. We were only there one night, but the Hotel use young staff and clearly train them well, and it was good to see that the youngsters who were newish when we first started going pre-Covid, are now in positions of responsibility? Callum is now Bar manager; Emma busies herself between food service and covering reception (Emma, could we have our usual table in the bar with our dogs......already reserved for you!?!?) and the lovely Rosie in total control at Reception. Food good; wine good and the room-only rate outstanding, although shower in Room 18 not great! Glad to see they are working on breakfast, as the "bagged" one last time did not hit the spot? Thanks you again for a lovely stay, Martin, Lucy and Dogs!!

  Relaxation at its best

  Stayed for a couple of nights with our two small dogs. Booking in very easy and the room we had was spacious and perfect for us having the dogs. Couldn't have enjoyed the relaxing time we had with everything being easy and no trouble. Had nice continental breakfast each morning and ate at local pubs not too far away. Staff were all great and enjoyed a couple of nice pints each afternoon in the bar. Nice village location and if i had to find one complaint it would be the constant noise at night of the nearby M4. Unless the owners can get the motorway diverted I don't suppose its solvable. Certainly wouldn't prevent me staying at this lovely Manor again soon.

  Wonderful afternoon tea. Superb Covid 19 precautions.

  Had a wonderful afternoon tea here this week. Very reasonably priced, with generous sandwiches, delicious cakes and warm, perfect scones. The restaurant was warm and welcoming. The staff were spot on observing Covid 19 measures, which made the whole experience feel safe and comfortable.
